I got my birth certificate missing and I want to know which one is appreciate and most acceptable for me to get for a 27 years old that USA embassy would accept. Is it:
1. the one that local government issue for token fees of 1500-2000k depending on the bargain though or
2. the one that National Population Census issues for a token fees of 9k

D one for NPC shld b ok, Pls don't let people dupe U bro, Go to their office @ Surulere, Its close to Nysc Secretariat, Its 2500 only and not 9k, Bu b4 u go there u ll Ve to swear an affidavit from the high court. U can use d high court @ Ikeja Dat goes for jst 500 box, NPC tks bou 2weeks to prepare d doc and I think 5500 if u want it done in 2 or 3 days so start now

Thanks a lot. I have done the one that goes for 1500 at my local government office, but some my friends told me i have to do the one at NPC that's what the US embassy accept. But my doubt is NPC was established in 1988 that's after my DOB, does it make sense me having that as well?

From the airport to the embassy is like an hour drive (but mind you, for rush hour time(could b 1-2hrs). I would advise you to get there a day b4 although u didn't indicate your interview time. (You should be able to get cab for for 5-6k). There's also airport shuttle bus for 800naira to town and on getting to town, a taxi can take you to the embassy for 250-500naira depending on you(JJC or Not) Well you didn't indicate your interview time.

Please while filling your visitng visa form, did u pick
the B/B2 which indicates the Temp Business/pleasure Tourism/medical or

B1/B2 which indicates the Temp Business/pleasure, Business/personal visa

Although it is stated on the website both B/B2 and B1/B2 are being issued as one
