In your quest to correct someone, you forgot to pull the log out of your own eyes too. As far as the Nigerian constitution is concerned, there's no such thing as North Central and South-South. The regions we have by laws is North, East, West & Mid-West. Apart from that, you are correct about the other mentions. In fact many groups have been agitating for the geopolitical zones to be recognized constitutionally. At the moment it's no different from saying Niger state is in the West because IBEDC supplies some areas there electricity.

Nigeria is either divided geographically to North and South, or 36 fedrating States, 774 Local Government or 6 Geopolitical zones (NorthWest, NorthEast, NorthCentral, SouthEast, SouthWest, SouthSouth)

Don't get it twisted. Ishegiri now known as Itsekiri are Yoruba in flesh and blood. Olokun deity is a creation of Ife people. As a matter of fact, Olokun, the river goddess was Oduduwa's wife. She became the deity that the Itsekiri are worshipping till the end of time.
