googi:Sorry i dont get you |
They say if you don't have an answer to a question you can always ask. I throw this question to politicians, people of high intellect and those who understand our constitution. In the 36 states in Nigeria we have chairmen and councillors and they serve a 3 year term before they go for re-election.But in Lagos State under the administration of Gov Ambode it was said that the tenure of the chairmen & the councilors were increased to 4 years by the lagos state assembly.I know Lagos state has 20 local government areas and they created another 37 local government development areas which brings the total to 57. Do the lagos state assembly or any state assembly have the right or power to increase the tenure of these offices without the intervention of the national assembly.Would it not make more sense for the bill to be passed in the federal house since the local government are funded with money from the federal coffers. Even the 37 newly created Local Government Council Developments Areas are not recognized by the federal government. So once money is sent to 20 lga's that is recognized by the federal government, the 20 lga's now share it with the 37 lcda's.Then again the lcda's can even be 5 years or as long as they want because they are not recognized by the federal government and were created by the state. If we do not look into this, another state assembly can wake up tomorrow and increase the tenure of its governor. As you know our judiciary is a shadow of itself at the moment. |

I say this to you as long as you have love for your best friend continue to advice him because one day your advice will save his life.Continue to be your brothers keeper. There are frats all over the world in different institutions of higher learning and it did not start in Nigeria. The problem is in this country we bastardize everything. It is suppose to be a helping hand, once you are about to graduate an old member will come back to his fraternity and open the doors for your early success. In the United States you will see judges, congressmen, business giants, lawyers and top politicians from the same iv league schools and fraternities give their young ones the needed push they need to succeed in their fields of study. The same way we killed our school system, our political parties, our judicial system, labour congress, opc, our police, the nigerian churches is the same way we turned fraternities to cultists. You were Apc last year and u are Pdp today. No more ideology,no more self respect, just a bunch of greedy people who dont care about their future. We turn thieves to our hero's and make our would be hero's to thieves. In nigeria of today a lie is the truth and the truth is a lie. Davido is rich, popular and he is idolized by everybody within and outside the country. He is an aiye member and flaunts it everytime he has a chance. You see the seven on his chains and chest. So you ordinary guys tells another ordinary guy that cultism is bad and he see's the rich and popular guy flaunting it,then how can the guy take ur advice seriously. That's when the truth becomes a lie and the lie becomes the truth. We need to change our mentality and be more selfless. One person can truly change the world. |

SoNature:For that 1.2k you can see a 3 bedroom apartment with 6 in a compound in Agungi. So if u have that type of cash why go all the way to ajah.I would rather pay 1.2 for an old house with bigger rooms in agungi than pay 1.2 for a new house in ajah with their aki & paw paw rooms. Also when i say old house i mean they were built between 2010-2015. Also you beat all that traffic and the estates in agungi are really good and the flooding is not as they make it seem.Banana Island, Park view ikoyi and lekki 1 get their own flood problems also. |

Moving to ajah is not bad, places like badore, langbasa, ado areas quite peaceful and you will meet a lot people who also made the journey from the mainland.Try and avoid the okera area to many cult activities and the indigenes are bossy. To be honest badore has nice estates and the indigienes are very accomodating. You can see 3 bedroom old house from 450k to like 700 depending on its structure. Then 3 bedroom new house 650k to 1.2 or even more. Some are lucky to have clean water depending on the location of their boreholes. The other down side is the traffic on ado road to ajah can sometimes make u cringe. So u have to time yourself or take a bike when you have an important or impromptu engagement. But all in all you will not regret the move, the fresh air and the quietness u rarely enjoy in the mainland. Also when you move to those sides your mentality changes from renting to actually buying your own land and building your own property. |

Muyiwa is a member and he was killed by rival cult group Eiye. It was said after Obama another member was killed in Aguda his men killed 2 eiye men so muyiwa was probably a reprisal attack. From what was gathered they say muyiwa was not a violent person but a financial member. This aguda and ikate side of surulere needs serious intervention. What happened to the surulere we all knew |
MansoryMX:If what you typed is correct and in a sane country he was declared to have died in lagos but flown to abuja to be buried. In a sane country wouldn't he be buried in lagos since he died from the pandemic in lagos. The same energy and resources used to take him to abuja can also be used to bury him in his hometown. Also the irony that baffles me is that the people that are afraid of their own shadows, talkless of covid 19 are the ones in full attendance. You see senior presidential officials not practising what they preach, while burying a man who died supposedly of covid 19 there is no social distancing while some did not wear masks. Unless you tell me they were all afraid to go to his hometown due to the insecurity in borno state, so they decided to deprive his family of burial rites and turn it to a party function in abuja. |
Aba Kyari is a red cap title holder in borno state. He is an elite son of the soil, so why would he be buried in no mans land in abuja. Also at the so called burial in abuja how many of his family members were in attendance. God forbid if something was to happen to our sitting president would he be buried in abuja or katsina close to his forefathers. |
