Sorry, even though I dislike political arselickers like ponponkon. International means 'between nations', even if it between 'Togo and Benin'. If the stadium can host a match between two international teams, then it is an international stadium. CAF will not go to your secondary school stadium and then approve it for international matches.

No empty land the stadium is located in the middle of market, so it is mostly locked up stall because the market is decked. Dr Ikpeazu has plans to construct a brand new 54,000 capacity stadium in Ogborhill area of Aba

CAF has approved the newly renovated Enyimba International Stadium Aba for Wednesday’s Confederation Cup Group C encounter between Enyimba and Congo’s CARA Brazzaville, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The ground which has been under renovation for the past three years was inspected by CAF officials last week.

Two-time African champions, Enyimba have played their four previous home games in the competition this year at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar and Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.


“Finally, the hard work pays off. The @EnyimbaFC stadium has gotten approval from CAF to host CARA Brazaville on Wednesday and the rest of the club’s #TotalCAFCC matches. Back home for good now,” reads a tweet on the twitter handle of Enyimba’s media officer, Farriel Allaputa on Monday morning.

The Peoples Elephant occupy second position in Group C and need to beat CARA Brazzaville to be guaranteed of a place in the quater-final.

The Aba giants secured a 1-0 away win against Djoliba of Mali in their last game in the competition.

They are looking to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Confederation Cup.

Enyimba International Stadium get approval for CARA game

Good afternoon Guys,

It was a carnival yesterday at the Stamford Enyimba Stadium as our shrine got reopened after nearly three years. There were scores and scores of people all over the place and if you ever needed proof that our fans missed us, that’s your answer right there.

The one thing about the end of a matter is the fact that when the plans all come together, all the pains and travails of the past get forgotten. Now no one thinks of the years we spent in Calabar and Port Harcourt and Umuahia. Our club management does deserve some accolades; for keeping the club afloat regardless.

There is little to say about the game itself. In truth it was every inch a novelty game. It ended 1-0 to the ExEnyimba stars although there were three penalty kicks in the game. The ExEagles had two spot-kicks which they couldn’t even convert. But that’s the novelty thing about the game – little to take note of about it.

So we are back home and to add some more good news into the mix, few hours ago, news filtered in that CAF has approved our stadium for the CARA Brazzaville game this midweek. We know inspectors were at the stadium sometime last week to confirm that the pitch was ready to host the fixture, well, now the answer is Yes.

It is a boost on both fronts because with such a high profile game where we need a win to go through, we could use the maximum support from our fans. Should this have been in Uyo or Calabar, we would have been in danger of playing such game without the backdrop of our incomparable fans. Wednesday guys, let’s repeat this carnival.

All eyes are now firmly on Coach Abdallah and the lads. Hopefully we will have more on that in the coming days.

But we are home, the stadium is officially opened and we are playing our most important game of the season there this midweek. It’s a happy Monday – enjoy it everywhere and everyone.

Go to ministry of works and submit your proposal to the commissioner Chief Eziuche Ubani,he will have an audience with you first,once you're are able to theoritically defend what you wrote he will arrange a meeting with the governor where you will be present
