To think that these are the same people most Nairaland members cheer about and support...lol. |
RepoMan007:If you want to buttress your point in an argument, avoid quoting dailymail or the sun. Those are cheap propaganda tabloids. It's just like using those fake yoruba/igbo/hausa newspapers they sell for 50 naira on the stands that usually carry all manner of ridiculous unfounded stories, to win an intellectual argument. The difference between those newspapers and dailymail and the sun is that, those our local newspapers don't have a website. |
gambojimeta:Point I'm making is that none of them(both Russia and the NATO countries are at peace cos they all have all sorts weapons and threats facing all of them in the region. |
gambojimeta:Those ones have deadly kinzhal missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads in kaliningrad terrorizing them which they do not like. |
Ibrahimcoomasie:The location of the incident is under the Danish government control. American intelligence is always in that area and covers that area. American ships, helicopters and planes were seen patrolling that area for days up until the sabotage occurred. How will this be pinned on Russia? |
okeysoninv:Omo, it's a waste of time actually exchanging words with a fool like you. If you ever grow a pair of brains in your life time, you can come back and attempt to have a conversation with me. But until then, you can fvck off with your imbecilic way of communication. It makes no sense exchanging words with retards like you. |
okeysoninv:It's quite obvious you probably haven't been around the four walls of a classroom and if at all you went to school, it must have been of a very poor standard, coupled together with the fact that you have the brain of an ant(which is actually not existent). Morons like you should always avoid engaging in discussions beyond your mental capacity.

RepoMan007:What are we saying and what are you saying? We are talking about official status of biggest economies in the world. |
okeysoninv:Russia that has the 11th largest economy in the world isn't in the top 15 European economic power house? Where do you get the nonsense you usually spill here, from? |
saxywale2:The main argument started with him claiming 2 missiles destroyed four drones at once and when we tried to explain to him that it was possible, he said they were flying together in parallel lines and I said it's not possible to fly four of those drones in parallel lines cos of the risk of collision and signal interference and he said when one drone exploded, it went to hit another one to detonate it, which is pure bullshit. Even when they are used as swarming drones, it's not possible to hit more than one drone with one missile as the others aren't in static mode. We've seen several videos of AD missiles hitting drones in this conflict and no missile has ever knocked out 2 drones together in one hit. |
saxywale2:They can be used in swarming modes doesn't mean they are all flying side by side together. |
saxywale2:It depends on the kind of drone. The Turkish bayraktar TB2 launches from a runway. Same with some of the Russian orlan drones. Copter drones and DJi commercial drones improvised and strapped with explosives do not need to launch from a runway. However, the contention is that they cannot be flying together in parallel lines at the same time cos of the risk of collision and signal interference. |
okeysoninv:My friend shut up, you are talking like a fool and you clearly are poorly educated. You can't fly military drones with explosives side by side due to the risk of collision and signal interference. Don't come here and start talking nonsense. This is not your spare parts you sell in ladipo. |
olugabbie:I know. I'm just even trying to assume that was the case with his logic which isn't even remotely possible. Even during exhibitions sef, they can't be flown side by side cos you can't really have them all take off from the runway at the exact time and speed. |
One4me:Lol. I'm surprised that they just think one way. No wonder we have a lot of them who think buhari is the best thing after fried rice. This is the type of reasoning they have. |
okeysoninv:You sound very dumb. If they are flying side by side, they will now be static and be waiting to be detonated one after the other abi? I don't even know how you manage to convince yourself that you are making sense. Only explosive materials stocked in one place can detonate like that cos they are in a particular spot. Objects moving at high speed cannot detonate that way. |
Ibime:If out of 100s of released prisoners, only him looks like this, you can't conclude it was torture. If there are several of them looking like this, then we can say maybe they were tortured. |
He probably has a disease he is suffering from. There are lots of other soldiers released. Do they all look like this? If they all have same look, then we can conclude they were tortured or ill treated. But you can't use one picture from thousands of soldiers captured, to sell this narrative that they are being tortured. It won't fly. Update: just checked all the comments and no one seems to even have the IQ to compare his pic with other released prisoners. All of you just swallowed the story like that... Is that how you guys just believe anything you see on the internet? |
RepoMan007:No. The AD missiles in Ukraine always detonate at impact with the object it's locked on. From my understanding of AD missiles, they all detonate on the object they target. Nothing like multiple projectiles splitting into two and hitting different targets. I might be wrong for others o but definitely not for the S300, BUK or pantsair AD in Ukraine/Russia. |
Svlla:One was brought down through EW. I saw video of it being retrieved from the sea. Another one was shot down via AD missile. |
okeysoninv:You sure say you go school so? What the Bleep are you saying? How can drones fly parallel to each other when it's not like they are on exhibition or something? ![]() |
The way some of you report news items, makes one wonder the quality of your intellects. No matter how patriotic people are, there would always be those who would run away from military mobilization in any country. Even in Nigeria during the Civil War, there were families that ran away with their kids to avoid enlisting in the army. That does not mean that they don't love their country. They simply aren't bold enough to go to battle. Even during the world War, it wasn't every adult male of the different countries that were enlisted in the army and sent to the war front. In the US now, people are even refusing to join the army. Times have changed and we are now in a very modern and civilized world where most people don't want to have anything to do with the military cos of the comfort they enjoy. In Nigeria, majority of the people in the army are there cos they can't get a job and need to feed. If things were different, they would not join. |
coke75:Why do you think that they would mobilize conscripts and throw them in the battle? Russia has well trained reservists that are not even called up yet to war, you are talking about badly trained conscripts that have just been mobilized. |
Ibime:People will be discussing on a topic, some of you will not calm down to read and even understand what is being said, before jumping in and posting rubbish. |
Uprightness100:Speech recorded but would be played when the far east is awake. Not sure what is happening. On the other hand, a revolution seems to be picking up in Iran. |
shogsman:I know. It would first start with a CTO operation before becoming a full fledged war depending on the extent of NATO 's involvement. |
shogsman:Not yet. They would upgrade it to a CTO(counter terrorism operation) and depending on what NATO does, they can upgrade it to a war. |
jimetagambo:Well, he isn't. We've been seeing lots of dead and wounded people as a result of Ukraine shelling separatists held regions and these news don't even make it to the mainstream media. It ends on the channels on Telegram we see them even though there are videos and pictures. On the other hand, everything in favor of Ukraine is splashed on our TV screens. |
See this. Same thing we've been saying all along.

bennybuhari:I tell you. Two things happened to him in the past few years. I noticed he quit winners chapel and joined celestial but that isn't even the problem here. The major problem is that since he joined APC, he just started sounding like a complete idiot and I started wondering where the young bright boy that was a peace ambassador in the UK that year, went to. |
This my friend that used to have sense and sound bright all of a sudden started sounding like a fool the moment he joined APC. Dayo Israel, may God have mercy on you and deliver you from the spirit of foolishness. Amen. |
ljoh:That’s not correct and it's actually not a good thing to say. |
