When they were shelling the nuclear plants controlled by Russia, they didn't know. |
Alamkir:The curious thing about this photo is that I can't find any Ukrainian soldier around it. Normally, Ukraine that we know, would take pictures by the side of this truck and splash it all over social media like they always do. |
Ibrahimcoomasie:The amount of soldiers deployed by Russia to Ukraine is very small. They obviously need more soldiers if they have to meet up with their goals cos the more they move further, the more soldiers they would need to hold territories and also form a strong defensive line. They have done well with the little forces committed to the operation right now but to totally achieve their objectives, they definitely would need more men. During the kharviv counter offensive, they had 12 Ukrainian soldiers to a Russian soldier cos the Ukrainians came with a 30k army against just a few Russian police and Donbass militia men. That's why they had to withdraw from those territories. |
joyandfaith:It's in the news now. US wants to place sanctions on Algeria for buying weapons from Russia. That's why most of us keep telling you guys that the US government is a terrorist government cos I don't know why you would place sanctions on an independent country just because they are buying weapons from your adversary. If that's not witchcraft, I wonder what is is. Must everyone do business with America? I can't remember God creating the world and telling America that he put them in charge of the entire universe. |
Whobedatte:Question you should ask is why they all want to meet Putin. Show us pictures of the others meeting themselves. For example, show us pictures of the Iranian president meeting with the other leaders one on one. |
InfinityFabric:Are you that slow? Is that what your brain could pick out from the video? |
Yorubas are always a problem in national politics. Someone is fighting for the entire good of the south but some people are more concerned about their own pockets and beginning to sing a different song. |
Very dumb move. It would cost them a lot to remodify the refinery cos it was built specifically to refine Russian oil. So if they need to refine any other oil, they would need to remodify it to suit that oil variant and that's not something that would happen overnight. At the end of the day, the EU is giving foreign investors a very bad image of them in the sense that investors would begin to see that their assets could be seized due to political rivalry between govts. |
As if Wike sends them. |
OP actually doesn't know what he is talking about. Ukraine is using her combined military plus reserves which is well over 500k and in addition to that, they have had nothing less than 3 mobilization that has put their troops close to a million, in the course of the war. In addition to that, they have thousands of volunteers from around the world in their ranks. They also have intelligence from about 39 countries, and have about 30+ nato countries planning the war and pumping them with weapons. Put all of these together against just Russia alone and the Russians have performed extremely well with that small size they are using to prosecute the war. |
What they did is very risky. They should have packed up enough food for the journey in some people's bags and put clothes in the other people's bags... |
Uprightness100:Russia held just about 30% of the kharviv region before the Ukrainian offensive. Ukraine held about 70% of the region all along so the region has always been to their favor and kudos to them on the advancement. The only snag to that is that it would make them lose a lot of soldiers due to the fact that they are going to be under direct Russian fire as it is easy to hit them with enough artillery fire from that position even without the Russians moving forward. That's a lot of dead soldiers thrown into the grinder. They would need a lot of troops to consistently hold kharviv and by the time they are getting decimated, they might be forced to withdraw which would not be a good thing too. |
Sensational headline to mislead people. Op, you are a slowpoke. |
Propaganda video. I was waiting to see plenty of equipments left behind. All I saw was a tank, a truck and a self propelled gun with ammunitions. |
This message could have been sent by an apc person in the name of Tinubu campaign group, for the purpose of rallying yorubas together. It is not Obi's responsibility to go and start looking for the first person that created the message. This is why we should caution overzealous supporters of candidates who come up with absurd messages in a bid to support their candidates. There are many of such messages by different groups of people who are representing different politicians. If I get such a message signed under Obi or tinubu or Atiku campaign group, it is not my responsibility to start investigating who initially authored it. |
okeysoninv:Maybe you read another news that the whole world doesn't know about. |
okeysoninv:This is nothing compared to the billions of dollars worth of weapons, ammunitions, aircraft, armored tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, APC and helicopters that the US left in Afghanistan when they fled away recently. It just shows that in war, there is no super man. |
You mustn't comment on world issues if you have no idea what you are talking about. It just makes you look clueless and silly. Please delete all these hogwash you have up there. |
If this is by any chance true, the whole world should be very worried about the consequences of the fall out of this.

Segun2222:They donated several types. Not just m777. |
Segun2222:American howitzers and mlrs

Well, there's about to be a major escalation soon as Russia has destroyed a lot of power stations in kharviv, Odessa, and several other regions. There's a report of massive black out in major parts of Ukraine. Up until now, Russia has intentionally avoided civilian infrastructures but since adequate power and normal lifestyle situation seems to enable citizens reveal the Russian army positions to the Ukrainians, they are now depriving them of that luxury. How do you fight in total blackout without access to power and information? Troops on the Frontline would have limited information coming to them with these blackouts. They are not minor but major hits to critical infrastructures. |
Segun2222:A lot of the weapons in the US armory were also made designed in that same era but are currently being manufactured and also have upgrades to them. Most of them were also sent to Ukraine. All those holtwizers and mlrs were designed several decades ago. |
Ibime:Nobody can establish air dominance over Ukraine cos they have a good number of s300 air defense systems scattered around the country. Those systems are very hard to evade once they are locked to a target. So even the US will have a problem flying over Ukraine if they were in the same situation. |
Segun2222:Do you know how to read at all? Where did I say nato has 200k troops in Ukraine? |
Bodmum:It is your father that is omo ale Nigeria. |
So much foolishness and stupidity on this thread. Both sides have been capturing and recapturing certain towns since the beginning of the war. Russia has captured Kherson, mauripol, the whole of luhangst and a sizeable portion of doneskt, with a fraction of nikolaev and kharviv. Ukraine goes on an offensive and pushes Russia out of most of the few parts of kharviv that Russia controls and suddenly, people are shouting about how Ukraine has won the war and how Russia has been defeated... How can some of you guys be that dumb? Russia has been pushed back a great deal from the small part of kharviv that they control and that's not something to be disputed. In Kherson, Ukraine has lost close to 5k soldiers and haven't made a single progress there. Another ignorant folk is saying Ukraine didn't prepare for war. Ukraine that NATO have been training and preparing for war against Russia since 2014? If you don't know anything about a topic, ask or keep quiet and learn from those that know. The fact that this offensive by the Ukrainians succeeded is due to the fact that Russia has very limited troops in Ukraine. You can't be fighting an army of 700k plus soldiers and mercenaries and coded NATO troops, with roughly 170-200k soldiers and not expect things like this to happen. Losing control of territories to either side, isn't something entirely new in war. The funny part of the Ukrainian advance in kharviv is that it puts them directly under Russian firepower as they could bomb them to smithereens from a stand off position in Russia itself. Despite Ukraine taking control of the city, it's still not to their advantage as they would be directly under heavy Russian firepower. |
okeysoninv:That’s not correct. Way more than. okeysoninv:Still not enough to fight the war. Ukraine has mobilized several times, making their army strength plus reserves over a million. |
Olafisoyem:For whatever reason, I don't know why they are not taking the war seriously. They are fighting an army of 700k plus that has the backing of all nato countries with resources and equipments, with just about 170k soldiers. I'm not what they are trying to prove. |
Russia loses Izyum to Ukraine. They are actually losing a lot of territories in the kharviv region and abandoning their equipments. It's looking like a very disastrous outing for them right now. |
You guys need to go see how the Irish are celebrating her death. Indians, Pakistanis, people from Latin America, etc. I never knew they hated the queen that much. This should serve as a lesson to the world powers and the royal house, going forward. |
