Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday fulfilled his
promise of making #10m revolving
loan available to Ekiti State tailors
as he distributed cheques to some
beneficiaries at a meeting organized
for the fashion designers at the
Government House Arcade in Ado Ekiti.
The governor who said the gesture is
part of the state's social security
scheme aimed at making life better
for the citizenry urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use
of the soft loan even as they ensure
prompt repayment so others can
benefit.
"The loan is to empower them in a little way, I made this promise 6
months ago and we are formally
implementing it today, it is a #10m
revolving loan for tailors, next year again by the grace of God I will support them the more, over 1000 people will be beneficiaries, after a moratorium period, they will start paying back about #500 a week so that others too can benefit", the governor said.

A Kenyan security guard in the residential area of Syokimau has been
giving the beating of his life after
he was caught stealing bread from a
kiosk. According to Tuko News, the
man who is identified as Peter Langat
Kipkirui, a watchman at the GateWay
mall, has been terrorizing the bread
supplier for almost two years.
The owner of the Kiosk who has been
suspecting some manipulation in his
supplies decided to lay a trap to
get the culprit.
On a faithful day, the unidentified
kiosk owner placed the crates at a
strategy place and waited to see who
has been cheating on him, but to his
surprise, it was his watchman coming
to steal the bread. As soon as he had picked the loaves, locals emerged from on where to descend on him before tying him to a pole.

and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, on Monday, November 28, 2016 visited the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Abubakar Sadique Baba to drum the message of anti -corruption in the military. He specifically said anti-corruption fight should not be left for the EFCC alone as it is a crime against humanity and a threat to national security. Let us all tackle corruption, let us join hands
together to kill corruption or at
least reduce it to its barest minimum, he said. He appealed to the CAS to use his good office to mobilise women in uniform against corruption. The Women Against Corruption campaign will be flagged off on December 7, 2016, at the International Conference Centre,

Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose on Thursday in Okesa, Ado Ekiti distributed cheques worth N200m to the second bash of landlords whose properties are to give way for the construction of 1.2km Fajuyi/Ojumose flyover.

Governor Fayose in his address thanked the chiefs and residents for their understanding and cooperation with the assurance that his government's action is in Ekiti's best interest.

The High Chief Asa of Okesa, Ado Ekiti, Chief Kayode Ogunleye who spoke on behalf of the residents appreciated governor Fayose for living up to his promise of paying compensation to property owners before demolishing their properties also pleaded with the governor on behalf of the residents to allow them exhume the remains of their buried ones before the commencement of demolition, a request governor Fayose granted expressly.

Governor Fayose who said he's giving affected residents 2 weeks to exhume the remains of their buried ones as requested urged the gathering to support him in his campaign against open defecation in the state.
