One of the most profound ways faith aids single women is by grounding them in a sense of identity and purpose. In a world that often emphasizes romantic relationships as markers of fulfillment, faith reminds women that their worth is not defined by their relationship status. Instead, it affirms their inherent value as individuals, created with unique talents, passions, and purposes. Faith provides a lens through which single women can view their lives with meaning and significance, regardless of their marital status. Whether through prayer, scripture, or community, faith offers reassurance that they are part of a greater narrative, woven into the fabric of a divine plan. https://bloomwithbelief..com/2024/05/how-faith-helps-single-women-navigate.html |

As a single woman on a spiritual journey, it's crucial to embrace the uniqueness of your path. Comparisons steal joy and detract from the beauty of your individual story. Singleness is often misunderstood as a state of lacking, but in reality, it's a season of immense opportunity. It's a time for personal growth, self-discovery, and embracing one's individuality. Instead of viewing singleness as a waiting period for a relationship, consider it as a time to focus on personal development and nurturing your relationship with yourself. https://bloomwithbelief..com/2024/05/finding-hope-in-singleness-navigating.html |

Exercise as we all know can be hard to stick to, but it is one of the things we need to constantly improve our mental wellbeing. Exercising is usually one of my goals at the beginning of every year and it works for like a few weeks then I fall out. The reason is that; I tend to lose focus, motivation, and also the discipline to keep on. But I realized that basing my exercising lifestyle on motivation is the worst thing I can do to myself. With mental illness, the motivation bank can sometimes be empty and we then base our lives on routine. Motivation doesn’t do much for us but specific planning and accountability. https://positivityace.com/4-interesting-ways-to-exercise-and-improve-mental-wellness/

Mental wellness is one of the most important areas of our being but many of us don’t pay attention to it. Have you ever heard this saying, “we are the product of our habits”? I agree with the saying because what we constantly do becomes part of our lives. I never took my mental wellness seriously until the beginning of last year when I had a mental breakdown. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety for more than 10 years and there was a point in my life when I wanted to commit suicide at an earlier stage. But the reason why I never did take it seriously was that I didn’t want to talk about it or even be stigmatized. So I always tried my best to look good to people outside but inside I was dying. At the beginning of 2021, I decided I was going to seek help with my mental wellness and one of the requirements was a change of lifestyle.

The mental health topic is not so common in Nigeria and it is one of the things that many people shy away from. But either we admit it or not, many of us struggle with it and it’s not a disease. The same way I will take care of myself when dealing with malaria or any other form of illness is the same way I should take care of my mental health too. Apart from taking medication, I realized that a change of lifestyle has actually helped to improve my mental health. https://positivityace.com/5-things-im-doing-to-improve-my-mental-health/

Have you heard of the phrase “Staying off Social Media” or “Fasting off Social Media”? This is something I’ve known for a while but I’ve never for once considered it as a thing I should do or try out until recently. In October, I started staying off social media little by little, and by the end of the month, I was able to get a grip on things. I was able to freeze my Instagram account, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook. But I’m left with WhatsApp because it has a lot to do with my work and I couldn’t afford to stay off it. I’m not advocating that social media is bad but it is the overconsumption of social media that can be dangerous to our lifestyle. But today, I’m going to be sharing some of the benefits I enjoy from staying off social media. https://positivityace.com/6-benefits-from-staying-off-social-media-for-50-days/

Financial education is not so common in our society and it’s quite concerning that many of us didn’t grow up with the proper knowledge of how to take care of our money. In my early 20s when I started working, I didn’t know what to do with my money. I didn’t understand what it means to save or how to better plan for my money. So all I did for years was to give out my money to friends and family, which hurt me in a long run. My therapist suggested a change of lifestyle to me at the early stage of my depression.
