christistruth01: Stop twisting things ... What is Awori Yoruba? Do you have Ijebu Yoruba or Oyo Yoruba? Awori are Aworis, do not attsch Yoruba to it to suit your sensibilities. Go and study the position of Lagosian in 2014 confab. They clearly distanced themselves from Odua's position. |

AlexBells: You are missing my point. What do you have to gain by calling Lagos a "no man's land"? Absolutely nothing. But there will be losses if the yorubas eventually react. The oba's, baale's are all yorubas, what does that tell you? Our brothers shops that were burnt by ambode, what did we do? Who will fight for us? Our thieving politicians? I'm suspecting you're a northerner trying to cause problems for peace-loving igbos in Lagos. 1 Like |

Lol,Lagos is part of Yorubaland and at the edge of SW(Yorubaland) so if Nigeria disintegrates today,it's practically impossible for any other tribe to control Lagos The people I pity are the igbos always slandering Lagos yet many of their people are there,if Oduduwa Nation truly comes to pass, they will be chased out 1 Like |

MrColdsweat:Igbos are not the one that is sponsoring Lagos as no man's land and the real people behind it had come out to say Lagos should not be part of Oduduwa nation but you don't threaten us whatsoever we will fight for ourselves if anyone threaten us we are Igbo people right it down |

Ayo2004: That is the logical thing to do.. chase them out. They have states and region they came from, they will surely go back there should Yorubas become independent. We have no ties whatsoever with them, even nature has separated them far from us and our people hardly go to their region. The "no man's land" rhetoric is to console themselves and massage their useless ego. The advent of online marketplace and stores have finished their petty trading business everywhere in Nigeria. They are completely finished as we speak in Lagos, it's only a matter of time till they start moving back Eastward. 2 Likes |

AlexBells: You are making the same mistake Ojukwu made in 1967 thinking he could take over Lagos because Yorubas had very few Soldier's in the Army By the Time your eyes Clear you will know that it was God Almighty himself that gave Lagos to the Yorubas Just like it happened to Ojukwu, everything went downhill for him from the moment he sent Biafran Soldiers to attack Lagos 1 Like |

Ayo2004:I had told you what we know in AlaIgbo is that Lagos is Yorubaland but if someone else told us when we arrive Lagos that Lagos is no their land or that Lagos is no man's land, it becomes natural to stay out of trouble and refer to her as man's land but do you travel no, over here in AlaIgbo we know Lagos as Yorubaland but the reality in Lagos is different, you should thank us for preferring no man's land to Benin land or Aworis land |

AlexBells:You're really educated which I'm aware of. Do you feel any relief coming online to deceive yourselves? All political, religious and traditional posts in Lagos is being held by the Yorùbás and someone like you still living in denial that Lagos is a no man's land. How? Mention one igbo state that has a boundary with any Yoruba state, let alone Lagos. Lately, Lagos State government has been systematically ejecting igbos from the posts occupied previously and replacing them with yorubas. You think Lagos government aren't aware that Igbos want to hijack Lagos? Those systemic demolition happening around Lagos, you think it's an accident? How do you even expect Yoruba to allow igbos hijack Lagos? What do you take yorubas for, fools? Stop being delusional and face the fact. We own Lagos 100% and there's nothing any igbo can do to blackmail us. |
Re: They Scapegoat Igbos With Lagos Is No Man's Land, Now It is Not Yorubaland by AlexBells(m): 1:36pm On Mar 20, 2021 |
Gbagura:Igbos are nice if we really want to undermine you we will be calling Lagos Benin land by now, I know that's exactly what your lots will do if the riverse is the case, that we call Lagos no man's land is to your advantage but you keep chasing shadows wait until you attack Igbos and over 4 million Igbo voices join to refer to Lagos as Benin land we live in Lagos you don't live much here, there is credibility to it, each time you accuse us of attacking Lagos when in reality we try our best to protect Lagos. We don't own Lagos, we don't have any hereditary claim but a couple others does and should we lend our voice to work against Yoruba interest which you had always worked against our interest any opportunity you get it could be interesting, but for now we prefer to call Lagos no man's land than call her by other ownership as far as the ambiguity remains. |

AlexBells:Don't you get? Why are igbos obsessed with Lagos? Did the benin people hired igbos to speak for them? Can't you just live like visitors that you are? Who gave you the microphone to speak on behalf of anyone? Do you realize igbo have no link or connections with yorubas, not even a single border? Do you think Nigeria will break now and igbos would be proving stubborn to dance to our tunes even after you've gotten your Biafra? Would you be telling us how to control our ports? Why is it that it's only the igbo trying to compete with yorubas in Lagos? What did the igbo contribute to the growth of Lagos? Answer me with a straight face. |

Gbagura:We are behaving like visitors that why we call her no man's land instead of calling her Yorubalabd, Benin land, Aworis labd etc. If Nigeria divides then whichever nation Lagos is ceded to will work a deal with us, either buy back our properties or modify the right of occupancy to sooth the new state, we still have right to peacefully demolish our properties and ship the materials back to AlaIgbo then negotiate on the non movable properties |
