Yes, they do. There are vendors there who sell the cards. NABTEB is 1K, I am not sure of the price for WAEC and NECO but WAEC is the costliest of the three.
Thanks, and God bless you sir

For university graduates, do you know how they will screen our certificates?

I did my SUBEB interview and screening yesterday. It was not tough for me though, there were many interview tables in the hall, each table has a minimum of 4 interviewers on it. At the point of entry, SSCE was verified; it was collected and thoroughly sighted and online verification of it was also be done. After that, I proceeded to the table for my school, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin for verification of NCE certificate. P.S the three state-owned colleges of education had their representatives in the hall. After being cleared by my tertiary institution, I proceeded to the TRCN Officials table for clearance. If you possess one, it will be indicated on your NCE result, if otherwise it will also be written, and if you have registered and sat their exam it will be made known also. I joined a queue of my choice for an interview and final screening. At the interview, most people were told to do micro-teaching on a topic in their area of specialisation while for few like me it was questioned on educational concepts and theories, applied questions subject areas, basic arithmetic and general knowledge.

O-level result checker is important.

Do you think those without NCE, B.Edu or PGDE stand a chance of getting the job?
Re: Kwara State TESCOM And SUBEB Recruitment by sheettle(m): 3:13pm On Mar 20, 2021
Bro', I am unsure of that. Well it was clearly indicated on the advert that a degree in Education is a requisite, it's very uncertain.

Kindly reframe your question thus:
"Do you think those without NCE, B.Edu or PGDE and non-kwarans stand a chance of getting the job?"

Are you trying to say those without Edu Cert can still get the job provided they are kwarans?

Why not?

Is it every Edu applicant that passed the test?

They may use quota sha but they will surely employ those without Edu cert too

TRCN is only an added advantage but not necessarily needed.

Apart from TRCN, computer literacy is also another advantage one can use.

*Accolades as Kwara govt briefs stakeholders on teachers’ recruitment*
· _Successful applicants to print employment letter from Tuesday_
· _50 first class graduates get TESCOM jobs_
· _Exercise transparent, first of its kind, says NUT_

Kwara State Government on Thursday exhaustively briefed stakeholders on the recruitment exercise for teaching jobs in the basic classes and senior secondary schools across the state amid commendations from teachers’ body, community leaders, and academics over the unprecedentedly transparent nature of the exercise.

Applicants meanwhile are to check their portals from Tuesday April 27 to know their status, with the successful ones printing their employment letters online ahead of full documentation with the State Universal SUBEB and Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) headquarters.

At least 50 first class university graduates made the list of successful applicants for the TESCOM category, the government said.

Speaking at the stakeholders’ meeting in Ilorin, the state capital, SUBEB Chairman Prof Shehu Raheem Adaramaja said the exercise was merit-based and totally devoid of partisan sentiments as Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq had insisted that the process of recruiting teachers must prioritise only the right qualification and competence.

He said the recruitment team adhered to the criteria stated in the advertorial, ensured that the process was anchored on the needs assessment earlier conducted by the two agencies across the 16 local government areas, and accommodated the diversity of the state, including people living with disabilities.

“The import of this presentation is for the stakeholders to know what went down throughout the exercise and what teaching slots will be going to what local government and for what reasons. We gave priority to applicants of Kwara origins but we also considered non-Kwarans with exceptional performances as well as people living with disabilities,” he added.

Do you know of anyone without B.EDU, NCE or PGDE that got the Job?
