Defection: Nigerians want solutions, not Buhari’s meetings with political wanderers

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, says Nigerians are interested in workable solutions to the country’s socio-economic challenges and not the several meetings of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), with “political wanderers” and “recycled politicians”.

Fayose, who stated this via his verified Twitter handle on Monday evening, made a veiled reference to a meeting the President had with former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel; and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole.

The PUNCH had reported that Buhari met the two politicians in Aso Villa, Abuja this afternoon. Daniel and Bankole, both from Ogun State, recently defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Reacting, Fayose, who is a chieftain of opposition Peoples Democratic Party, said, “Nigerians are not interested in the president receiving political wanderers in the Villa. They are more interested in their well-being, especially security. They want to see a president who is proactive in handling affairs of the country, rather than receiving recycled politicians.

“Most importantly, Nigerians are not interested in how many politicians that decamp to APC, which is already a dead party. The president should rather make himself available to Nigerians who can help solve our unending financial and security challenges amongst others.

“Above all, I wish the president knows how disappointed Nigerians are about him and his failed promises.”

In order to nullify the Northern Protectorate budget deficit.So he decided to amalgamate the Southern and Northern Protectorates.He was using the revenue generated in the the South to execute the projects in the North

This is still the case we are having in Nigeria.The Northern Nigeria is almost 100% dependent on the South
These fools, like two weeks ago were acting as if food importation to the South was a favour to us.If the South start producing food in abundance, the North will be in serious trouble because agriculture is the only thing they have and we are their market......The North has always been at the South mercy since Lord Lugard brought us together

Nigeria is not working and everyone can see that.But politicians are the beneficiaries of this situation Apparently they don't have that power unless the people (Victims of bad governance) hand it to them.But fortunately for them, the people (Victims of bad governance) are divided.This division is what makes the people bereaved of their supposedly voting power
Then tyranny continues and these same people complain about it

The tyranny they have chosen, which is taking its toll on them.The only way to end this tyranny is division, everyone should manage what they are able to generate as revenue.Not some people being parasitic on others in the name of one Nigeria.Everyone should just part ways

At this crucial point we must as a nation decide to do away with the likes of APC PDP and unqualified candidates.

Infact any candidate without the qualifications worthy to have been the MD of a top company had no business being our senator or governor talkless of the president

Look at what an unqualified person as a president has done to us over the last 7nyears . He has thrashed the economy destroyed any little unity and patriotism we had the army is so devastated they are releasing court-martialed and sacked soldiers due to the fact that Bokoharam has killed all the strong top fighting soldiers we had .

He spent more time distracted by the power and perks of a president than doing anything meaningful and what got to me was he didn't even think to employ technocrats and qualified individuals to make up for his abysmal lack of intelligence, instead he employed his clan and tribe members that's when I gave up on there being any meaningful turn around until he leaves office .
