Positives : The truth about sales jobs is that many people in sales jobs work remotely or at least have some flexibility to work from home, sometimes,,
You'll develop a lot as a person by working in sales.
You'll have to leave your comfort zone and push yourself, and you'll experience massive personal growth because of it.

Negatives : Prospects who have had the misfortune of working with manipulative or pushy salespeople will be more more difficult to sell to and most People are wary of sales reps because they believe you'll call and email them incessantly with information about products they don't need and won't buy.

If you can cope with sleepless nights, you are good to go

It all depends on how interactive you are with people.

They are always worth it.

It's quite unfortunate that we have bastardized sales and marketing in this country.

The truth is, there's no company without that department, which makes it strategic in the scheme of things. If you have a marketing skill, the world is your oyster.

Please take the job. While you are trying to promote your company's products, you can get a job with other companies.

Sales Job are for hardworking people and it's very worth it.

Sales job are everywhere and most times they don't pay more than 50k-60k and they entice you with commission.

The pressure that comes with target meeting is too high from some companies. If you don't have a strong mind you would nearly run mad.

4 interviews? well, from experience sales job is just by meeting targets and you may probably be meeting new people sha.

Sales job is not for everyone, and there are levels to Sales, some sales people earn almost a million (salary+commission) monthly, while some lesser. Salaries or commissions for Sales jobs in big establishments are usually enticing but if you're prone to High BP & Hypertension avoid Sales jobs.

Sales job is dope

Though it varies on the niche, industry or product concerned but once you've mastered the skills set for the job, you will be okay

OP if you have a Sales Passion then why not take up one of them after a due diligence on the company's employees and remuneration Ts & Cs ....
Howbeit I usually advocate for youths to embrace independence....why not get an online skill set and make @least $50 weekly selling your skill or doing little services remotely.
Do you know that you can get paid selling for people online....

If you are not a sexy lady, it would be very difficult to meet target. Were i waas working on the island as logisics, there were about 50 sales rep in the company that were to meet a target but only the females were meeting and passing the targets.. None of the numerous guys did and those guys were very intelligent and good in interacting with people. Thats why most companies now will specify they need ladies for sales rep.

I am a sales man and truth is its a dope job. Really really worth it.

.... Haba it's not as terrible as that o. I have been in that field for 10yrs+ . In fmcg. Both personal care and Edible. Now my experience gives me an edge.

Depends on what type of sales and what type of company.
I think sales in a multinational company is okay. Sales Engineers in my company earn a big deal.
