Are you sure that you are not involved in fraudulent activities?

i have never involve myself in such act .. if i was involve will i have the nerves to go to the bank? i went to the bank last week they said there is noting they can do until 10years befre my bvn will be lifted... how do they expwct me to feed myself and my family...why will i be suffering from what i dont know of.. this is wickedness am diein slowly

Noted. I am sorry for entertaining doubts. However since you are clean, why not engage a Lawyer to fight your cause and sue the Bank in the process.

God forgive me I'm just happy with development. The guy is a scammer he just changed the story.this useless people make me go through hell in the beginning of this year.they have blacklisted his BVN I just wish he can go bank like this op.

Sorry Op, for your predicament... that's if you're really innocent. As we've all known in Nairaland that there's always 3 perspective to a story: Yours, His and the very truth.

But on the flip side, this is a very good development. A good tool against all these scammers and frauds. They really need to be shown a big lesson.
They have derided us of trust and affection, thereby making us lose our integrity both in Nigeria and beyond.

pls, someone in the know should help us with template of how to report and block frauds bank account and keep then in checks.

This is a REVOLUTION... an economic revolution, for ourselves and our children.

I wonder what allegation he must have made against you, for the bank to place a PND on your account, without recourse to you.

What did your Lawyer advice you on the bank having the right (or not) to restrict your account without pre-informing you?

You might just have to let this one go, by giving him a full refund. See it as losing the battle (N30,000) but not the war (your sanity and peace of mind).

I’ve sold cars for some people and they either stopped picking my calls because they didn’t want to pay me my commission or they blocked my number .

I simply laid a complaint against them and blocked their account and it was because it was blocked they now sent me money “not before signing an undertaken “ that once all accounts are “unblocked” they will pay me my money .

My point is , if you are sure you did nothing wrong then you can sue the man (if your hands are clean) and/or resolve amicably as you deem fit .

This makes lots of sense.

Let me get this right. Are you saying you got accounts blocked on the strength of your complaints alone? If so, was it in a bank(s) where you knew someone? I'm asking to clarify because, if true, this is a nice way to put fraudulent/sharp practices people in good check.

You can block someone's bank account from the bank you used to transact business with him or her. I've seen it happen someone paid money into his clearing agents account and after two months he went to his bank and complained that he made the transaction in error and the bank blocked the account it happens to be that the said account the agent provided is his wife's account.
