This is just my personal opinion, and I know I will get alot of sticks for this.

We all know that a lot of things are economically wrong in Nigeria.
Prices of good and services have skyrocketed over the past few years.
The government is partly to blame for this as their policies, actions and inactions has led us to this point we are in.
Insecurity in all regions of the country as also had it's adverse effects on the economy. The continued bokoharam terroristic attacks, kidnapping, triballistic feud are one of the major reasons the country's economy is going down really bad.
The global pandemic has also affected the economy negatively.

However, with these points in mind and maybe other factors, I feel the country's economy is also suffering because of the fraudsters(YAHOO BOYS AND GIRLS).

These set of highly intelligent people actually have reasons to engage in such act of fraud.
They are actually amongst the richest in the society, they get whatever they want at any rate the desire.
I know of a friend who officially has no source of income and he recently purchased a house in lekki at the rate of 75million naira.
They spend money with reckless abandon. At a night party they could purchase drinks worth millions of naira.
Even the youngster fraudsters YAHOO BOYS AND GIRLS are also involved in theses extravaganza.
Some of these repentant fraudsters. Will end up working with the government, how? Government jobs are on sale!
Only someone who doesn't know the value of money will purchase a job for 5million Naira.
This set of people have made life more expensive and harder to come by for the legitimate hustlers.
They are one of the major factors affecting the prices of goods and services. Their lavish lifestyle, extravaganzas
have made the prices of goods and services disobey the law of gravity

And until their activities are nipped in the bud. We'd remain where we are
