Those ones are common with flying boats and overloading. Most of them are meant not to carry more than 9 or 10 persons but the Locals tend to overload it coupled with overspeading.

Lagos waterways are safer than those of the Niger Delta...that's why you rarely see the heavy presence of military police like those in the Delta (particularly Rivers State).

However, armed robbers have taken advantage of the porous waterways as their escape route whenever they rob the island. I have witnessed many of them....even one happened along Addo road in Ajah this year.

With Laswa having state-of-the-art terminals, Lagos has been making efforts toward developing water transportation. This news will definitely boost that drive. However, the security of the players is critical. Those guys can afford to fly themselves to Port Novo if the FA is broke.

Where in Lagos can one take the ride to port Novo?
