KingAzari:a state of up to 3 million people don't need airport? Even though Nigeria has no good highway and no rail system? Oh ok...what do they 'need' then. P.s I'm from Enugu, grew up in Enugu and live in Enugu now but I support this 100% |

Sirlins:it is either you're stupiid or an example of the word "Illiteracy" you just described above. So Umueri should allow government grab unallocated lands ![]() Are you sick?? What is even wrong with today's social media nitwits?? Haven't you even heard that following the protests Obiano had to release 288.6 hectares of land back to the community. Do you think it was legally aquaired by government and they had to release it ?? Onye ala |

You sound witty but not truthful, am not from your side but I already know what the bone of contention is, tribalism and stereotype seems to be at the edge of it all but to what outcome will it be. When the airport will start booming you people will seek for allocation and your youths will equally be employed to work. You speak as if the land in question is under development before now, poor you, you have many empty lands in umueri and this is the first ever national development project in umueri, but your guns of war is always ahead of you. The world is moving forward, move with it you're not a snail. |

KingAzari:I cannot agree more. This is another waste of money and needless disruption of the ecosystem. A partnership with either Asaba or Enugu airport would have been a better strategy for Anambra state. All these structures will collapse without air traffic and generate no revenue. And as I suspect this project is most likely funded by loans that Anambra will continue to service. If no revenue generation is coming project, then ordinary folks will have to pony up through all sorts of levies. Not going to be funny. |

AsomughaChuks05:Where do you leave? How does the airport benefit a common man? All the roads in Anambra are now death traps. No road maintenance, no new road built. Obiano just wasted 8 years of Anambra state. He took Anambra state back 20 years or more. If Obiano was pretty, he could have built the airport and still build & maintain Anambra roads. His frivolous life style has made Anambra state a laughing stock. He is a waster. Come to Anambra state and mention his name and hear the reply from Ndi Anambra. I am wondering what APGA will campaign with during governorship election later this year |

See this clown yapping rubbish. Anambra has the best road networks in the entire region. You are dumb to ask of how airport will benefit the common man. I don't even need to explain anything to you. Obiano is the best governor out a Anambra and SE region since 1999. Deal with it [s] Chigold101:[/s] |

Enugu, Owerri and Asaba airports should close down and start using the international airport in Anambra because it is just 5-10mins from each other KingAzari: |

will it function or just be an elephant white project that will be abandoned after 2023? will the north allow it to function trully as international airport or a cargo airport like most other ones in the east! |

This Airport in Anambra will seriously boost IGR in the state because naturally, an average Anambra man loves doing business. With an international cargo Airport functioning in the state, all road leads to Umueri. It's goodbye to Lagos honestly and it would reduce congestion in Lagos ports |

custainmowole:I won't call you names but I will try to educate you a little because your small mind won't allow you to know there's a big difference between road network and motorable road. I am from Anambra South, I live in Anambra central(Odume Obosi) and have my office in Anambra North (Onitsha) so I travel almost round Anambra every month. I will still want you to check your small brain to know how many of the so called road network Obiano built. People in Anambra are going through hell in the hands of touts, Obiano isn't doing anything about it because all the touts are government agents. Common Onitsha 33/Transnkissi road that goes from Onitsha to Agulueri, Obiano has not been able to build and everyday people almost sleep there because of traffic. Stella Odua just completed Ojanja/Port Harcourt road in Fegge, Obiano want Stella arrested for building the road that had become a death center. Stella Odua went to Akpaka to work on the roads there after Obiano's failure to do so, Obiano appeared again to stop the work. Linda Ikpeazu and Stella are doing far more better than your Obiano. Obiano is a disgrace and has wasted 8 years of Ndi Anambra. Remember, there's a BIG DIFFERENCE between GOOD ROAD NETWORK & GOOD ROAD. |
