I don't think I can forgive the whites for this atrocities. 300 good years a whole race was subjected to a level below an animal
if igbos can forgive nigeria why won't you forgive the white?is it because white people brought what is called human right to us and told us that everyone is equal?, can black people in arab world raise their voices against arab people ?arab people are the first slave buyers in Africa, what of african that sold their people to the white people?this slave thing every race was involved in the business ,

A terrible history BUT we should remember that the black man actively sold his people during the slave trade. Infact many black kingdoms engaged in wars and skirmishes just to capture slaves to be sold in slave trade market. Prior to the 16th century, slave buying was just a niche market. Over 10 million or more Africans were moved over the Atlantic during the boom of the slave trade and the native blacks were hundred percent complicit in it angry

You’re absolutely correct! It’s sad and part of our history.

while you are at it, remember to not forgive your kings and chiefs who were the main suppliers of slaves to the whites.

New Orleans is kool, been there couple of times. Drove all the way from GA via Florida to New Orleans. The night life is definitely the best part of the city at the French Quarter.

Yes, French Quarters and Bourbon street can be quite the experience. Loads of fun and good people watching.

It means a beautiful story like this didn't make FrontPage until almost a week after it was available, but posts on how someone's designer bags being worth more than an entire village are making headlines.

Slavery in general dates back more than that.

It characterise all human epoch.

Egyptians as advance civilization back then own the Jews as slave. It's even in the greatest book

New Orleans is a foodie destination and they do it quite well.

Lots of African roots in how they cook. Was hoping to check out one of the Nigerian restaurants, but due to COVID many have not opened back up yet.

Right! Even in the whiteman's world, black people are indispensable and valuable as much as we need them. We black people are intellectuals, blessed and excellent. The best they can do is to preserve the memories and let love lead. Whatever happened back then was the trend in the world back then. Humanity has moved on. Love should come first. No race is superior, nothing like pro-blacks, white supremacy, it's all against humanity. The world should come together as one.
It's so rare to come across sensible people like you nowadays.
A lot of people want to remain victims and ignite race wars every moment of life

Understandable. It’s definitely a tough pill to swallow.
I hope we can't forgive blacks too for thanking slaves themselves.
Cause I remember all races partook in it. All culture in the past believed you could own someone
