You can start that business but don’t quit your job now until your business stands then you can take the walk.
If you rush into business, you will only rush out of it.

- Study existing vocational training centres to note their challenges and opportunities.
- Do feasibility study, is it something you can do, is there enough trainees to guarantee cash flow and profits, what is required capital requirements, what equipment do I need, etc.
- Develop a plan of how you intend to run your own centre (Business plan). State your potential costumers, where you can find them and how to market your training to them. State how you intend to design your training packages to beat competition. State if you would need assistant trainers. How do you intend to keep your books?, etc.

Bear in mind that in as much as entrepreneurship is courted by many, only few succeed.

Don't just quit yet start evening lesson as side hustle while planning for something else. start up businesses are not always stable from the on set so you still need to have passive income while working on the next level. Good luck.

Produce and distribute side by side as you are training others. Don't just train, also produce. You won't regret going into soap and paint production to be a major distributor. It's a nice investment. You know why? Cuz people use soap every time. You can come out with your own brand.

Even with my B.Sc(Ed), I gave up on teaching since last year.

E better make person no work self than some teaching jobs.

I know someone who is a teacher and have achieved morethan a banker. He had build a house and also married with children. Guess what is only teaching he does. The thing is that those that complain of not saving a dime are reckless with money to the extent even if they have a job of 80k they will still br complaining of the money being too small

Teaching is something else, I'm also in this position right now and i don't know whether to quit or manage for the main time.
I teach in a government primary school in one of the state in the middle belt, to make matters worse a rural village, my pay is 48k and my PPA is 1h,20mins from where I stay. Hence I spend 15k monthly on tfare coupled with the village is not safe.

Different opinions bro. The more you get paid in private schools the more they use you, even those who work in public school cannot show what they've achieved in 5year. Lol... Revenue determines Salaries... But I pay my staff well, although at times parents don't completely pay up their ward fees.

I myself also started up my engineering services firm this year, coupled with my realtor work... Coz I'm a man, can't rely on one income stream.

I don't also employ male teachers, coz 25- 30k is too small for them

I am a private school teacher and I know what I have achieved in the space of 4 years both academically and otherwise. So, when people say that they have been teaching for xyz years and cannot show anything for it, it baffles me.
And for your last statement, God forbid that I ever stay in a compound owned by your kind of landlord.
