Here is the point again. You saw nothing wrong with humans(husband and wife) divorcing or disagreeing with or disowning one another. Or do you? Can you answer this question for clarity.

Why do you see everything wrong with God divorcing or disagreeing with or disowning His creature?

As to your question, i hope it does not come to that, but i have seen parents disown their children on grounds of continued unacceptable behaviour on the part of the child. Do you feel that they have the rights to disown? This another question you should try to answer for clarity.

Why bring up the subject of validation? i reminded you about those who love God and stay with Him since you were attempting to make a point on numbers that don't love Him.

Deception is not necessarily connected to dissatisfaction. We don't pray so, but your child can be deceived by another person using bait like sweets or fun or some form of nonexistent El dorado freedom. It doesn't necessarily mean you are a bad parent or that the child was dissatisfied with you. He was only fooled to believe there's more out there.
People are deceived every day either to some nonexistent better offer and opportunity, or to a bogus good cause. They are not necessarily deceived because of dissatisfaction.
