I also need to point out that my dog has been scratching it's body seriously for the past 2 weeks or so. It has some wounds around it's body due to the scratching. Even discovered a new one this morning. I don't know if this can be related to the eye issue.

I've brought an Eye drop. It's not indicated on the cover, but the Chemist says it has Anti inflammatory and Antibiotics. It's called Ivygentacin.

I don't think it's related to the eye issue, but I'll prescribe something to take care of that once we are seeing progress with the eye infection. But for the meantime you can get Amitraz solution and bath your dog with it, while you use GV for the wound.

I'm so sorry sir, I'll like you help us to examine the vulva to determine the exact source of the bleeding, whether it's due to bruising/tear during mating or infection (sexually transmitted infection). That would determine our next step.

My dog is a 7months Lhasa mix. Last week I noticed his appetite was dropping so my breeder plug reminded me that I'd missed 2 deworming session. I dewormed him and things returned to normal.

On Thursday he was uninterested in his food (canned). Same thing on Friday, hardly peed and didn't poo. We went for a walk today and he was active and pooed as usual (he likes to poo when he goes on walks).
He got back, unenthusiastically ate then threw up a few minutes later.

He seems quieter and more subdued than usual also uninterested in canned food, potatoes (his favorites), raw chicken /(another favourite).

I'm beginning to worry. Any suggestions?

Alright, I will keep you posted on that later today. This actually was her first mating in 4 years and it wasn't an easy battle Lol � but thank God at the end I was victorious.

Good morning Sir, inasmuch as I would want you to put your mind at rest, I'll still advice you to take your dog to a Vet clinic for thorough medical check up so as to rule out all possiblities. Please update us as it goes

I'd a vet come around. He tested negative to Parvo and was put on broad spectrum antibiotics, multivitamin, flagyl, vitamins and glucose. He vomitted twice today (clear yellow fluid).

He is a small breed and already looks so bony. I'm worried af.

Good evening sir, so sorry for the late response, my hands were filled throughout today. I'll advice you go to a registered government approved Vet clinic, for proper examination and monitoring. Sir I don't believe in all these "a vet came around.... etc" many of them are questionable. Meanwhile, ensure your dog is hydrated while you are observant. Please keep us updated

Good morning Sir and I'm very sorry about your dog's condition. First of all, I'll appreciate if you can post the picture of the affected eye, so as to assist in diagnosis and recommendation. Meanwhile, I'll give you a list of what to do;
1) Get a clean cotton wool and soak in a mild antiseptic
2) Gently use it to dab & clean the affected area and while cleaning try to observe if there is any debris or particle still retained around or within the eye that may be causing the inflammation, if found, gently remove it. You can also gently try to open the eye while checking.
3) After that, apply the eye drop you were given but confirm the constituent first, it must have aside antibiotics/pain-relievers, an ANTI- INFLAMMATORY, I can help you on that
4) Finally, I would prescribe a systemic anti-inflammatory and antibiotics to supplement the eye drop, but would be after I've seen the picture of the affected and perhaps asked some few further questions. Please ensure you update us on further developments. I hope this helps!!!!

So I got the diclofenac eye drop and used it on the dog and two hours later, the dog started opening it's eyes a bit. For the first time in about 4 days. I've been using it on the dog religiously and the eye is almost perfectly fine right now.

Next step for me is to start looking for a new vet. I don't trust my former vet anymore. Gave my dog injection for the eye and told me not to use eye drops. Dog would gave gone blind if I had answered him..Dog was already keeping it's eye shut 24/7.

Good evening sir, the answer is yes to a reasonable extent, due to their size, aside that they are short snouted dogs hence more predisposed to respiratory infection. In conclusion, I won't discourage you because every breed has it own limitations but I'll just advice to be prepared to put in all your best and time, breeding business is not a tea party sir, its a serious time consuming business sir.

Yes sir, it may affect. Absence of vaccination can affect growth due to predisposition to worm infestation and let's remember that worm infestation affects growth. Also absence of vaccination also predisposes your pup to several other diseases and as we know, diseases generally affect growth. I hope this helps?

Good morning Sir and sorry for the delay. First, I'll advice you to change your dog's location to a cleaner and less damp environment
Secondly, Its better you take your pet to a vet clinic where proper examination would be done and perhaps Ivermectin inj may be given to fight the parasite from within. Alternatively, if you don't have access to veterinary services you can get oral Ivermectin in any vet pharmacy and I'll guide you on how to administer
Lastly, get Armitraz bath which you'll dissolve in water and use to bath your dog weekly till you reduce it to fortnightly then monthly. I hope this helps and please update me on any development!!!
