Happy Sunday everyone. Please I want to ask what could be the cause of frequent headache. I have been experiencing headache off and on since last week, even when I take a nap, it doesn't go away. I just woke up now and I'm still feeling headache. I complained to my doctor on Friday during antenatal but she didn't say anything. My PCV and blood pressure is okay and I'm not feeling sick, just the headache.

Thanks. First at 18weeks in my Dr's office scan but I decided I'll wait and use the report from a trained scan personnel, my Dr is a Fertility Specialist (OB/Gyn and an IVF Specialist).

I went for 20weeks Anomaly/Anatomy Scan at Afriglobal and it was same thing. They do the scan within 18weeks to 24weeks of pregnancy costs N15,100.

Okay. For Afriglobal, the Sonographer told me they do between 18weeks to 24weeks. That after 24weeks it cannot be done again because they won't be able to check/see certain Anomaly parameters again.

I went there on my own. No Dr referral needed. I was just curious based on what I read online. It's best practice in Pregnancy in Western countries like US, Canada, Australia etc. So I just did. Glad I did cos it gave me peace of mind, seeing everything from Spine, Heart, Lungs, Bladder, Kidney etc checked for both Babies and all confirmed okay.

PS: I'm same as Twinmom. Had to deactivate the Twinmom moniker.

Normal scan is different from Anomaly/Anatomy scan. Anomaly/Anatomy scan is a detailed scan that checks the Baby's Spine (can detect any spine defect like Spina Bifida), Baby's Heart, Kidney, Bladder, Lungs etc. It looks at all Baby's organ to be sure no anomaly/deformity.

Normal Scan at Afriglobal is N3,500. At my hospital, normal scan is free because it is already added to the Antenatal Fee which is in high thousands grin

Since the vitals are ok,its one of pregnancy discomfort.Endure u won't even know when it will stop
