Bros it's not the regular pregnancy scan. Please get informed, Google Anomaly / Anatomy scan to see what it entails then it might help you appreciate the price.

Normally, regular naija Hospitals do only the normal scan, it is only when they notice that something might be wrong that they send you for the Anomaly/Anatomy scan to be sure.

My Dr didn't ask me to do it. I did it on my own based on my pregnancy journey of over 9years and my research. Its expensive depending on the person's pocket but I found it worth it. Everyone does what they feel is best for them. Peace! ✌✌

PS: I'm not advertising for Afriglobal ooo, this type of scan can also be done in Lagos at Clina Lancet, Mecure, Clinix and I believe many other Scan houses. I chose Afriglobal for quality and due to their proximity to my location.

Please is there any Mom here with experience using Modern Cloth Diapers? I need help with good trusted brands/sellers in Nigeria. I want to use both Cloth Diaper and Disposables for these Babies. Lots of info and sellers online (Jumia, Konga, Instagram etc). It's kinda overwhelming. Thanks

Okay. For Afriglobal, the Sonographer told me they do between 18weeks to 24weeks. That after 24weeks it cannot be done again because they won't be able to check/see certain Anomaly parameters again.

I went there on my own. No Dr referral needed. I was just curious based on what I read online. It's best practice in Pregnancy in Western countries like US, Canada, Australia etc. So I just did. Glad I did cos it gave me peace of mind, seeing everything from Spine, Heart, Lungs, Bladder, Kidney etc checked for both Babies and all confirmed okay.

LOLZ. My sister scan and the machines used get grade. There are some with very clear images that a novice can see clearly what is on the screen.

Please try and do it before 24 weeks if you want to. It’s usually done between 18-21 weeks for optimal results. That ultrasound has saved many babies and moms, not sure why it’s not mandated by Nigerian doctors. I used to believe it’s non-negotiable.

Did she check the consistency?
Is it smelly?
If it's not mixed with blood....she might want to rest. But for the benefit of doubt, let her go to the hospital.

Happy Sunday everyone. Please I want to ask what could be the cause of frequent headache. I have been experiencing headache off and on since last week, even when I take a nap, it doesn't go away. I just woke up now and I'm still feeling headache. I complained to my doctor on Friday during antenatal but she didn't say anything. My PCV and blood pressure is okay and I'm not feeling sick, just the headache.

I used to have this when pregnant especially in first trimester. Since your BP is okay and your doctor is not bothered, i will say watch it, then RELAX and REST as much as you can . It is a phase, it will soon pass.

well I don’t know total cost I paid for my antenatal was less than 30k registration was 8k I paid consultant fee of 1k upon my next visits and we only did scan 3ce

Since your PCV and BP is Okay, you might have to increase your fluid intake. Dehydration can also cause headache for some people.
