Today, I just want to answer a quick question a friend asked. I already put it in a video; also, for the sake of those who might have similar question at heart I decided to put it out here too, so we all can be blessed from it.

The question he asked is about our sexuality in the afterlife, he said:
"Bro, do you believe in the idea that we remain male and female in heaven, because some people wey give account of their vision of heaven maintained this stand. You know we are all learning oo".

My Answer Is No!
We are neither male nor female in the realm of the spirit and the scriptures made it clear, also, our experiences in this world made that clear also. We are all spirit being with soul living in a house, or should I say, we are eternal spirit with soul, this body we are in is only necessary for our physical manifestation here, and we are to function accordingly.

Gender is only necessary as a matter of our functionality, i.e. The Almighty Father designed this world to function in a certain way and the flesh which houses the spirit is needed for it to be realistic. But originally, we are spirit being, so there is neither male nor female in the realm of the spirit, and the lust of the flesh and its desires ends here. For instance, you don't have urge for sex in the realm of the spirit, but for something different. You don't have desires for cars and material things, because spirit moves in the speed of light. You know, just by their imagination to be somewhere, they are there immediately.

Let's look at the account of creation to tap inspiration;
In Genesis 2:7 the bible says:

He formed man from the dust of the ground i.e. the flesh came from the dust of the ground.
He breathed the breath of life into the man's nostrils- This means,the breath of life which is the spirit being in man came from God directly and not from the ground, it was after the breath that man became a living person, a completion of body and spirit.

So the physical structure of man is from the dust of the ground; male or female, and the bible says in Genesis 3:19, that man will return or turn back to that dust. That's the flesh is going back to where it came from and the spirit return to God the giver of life. So the spirit is neither male nor female, but the body is.

Genesis 3:19 AMP
By the sweat of your face You will eat bread Until you return to the ground, For from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”

Another biblical example was sighted by Christ Himself in is response to a question in Matthew 22 vs 23-30.
The Lawyer said, according to Moses, if a man dies without children, his brother should marry the widow and have child to bear the brother's name. Suppose he had seven brother and they all had her before they died, whose wife will she be in the resurrection. At least they all married her.

Then Christ responded by saying:
Matthew 22:30 AMP
For in the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but they are like angels in heaven [who do not marry nor produce children].
And I'm sure you haven't heard of female angels in heaven, expect for we calling our sweetheart angel here on earth. You can't romance the real Angels in their glorious bodies.

Which of these can you proof by the Word of God?


I don't need soul travel to understand the scriptures, all I need is to meditate on the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit illuminate my heart.

Soul travel can only relate with your imagination, which might never be true.

We begin here on earth with the Kingdom of God, and so when Jesus Christ says that there are no genders, race, creed, color, etc. as far as His Kingdom is concerned, He implies that those who belong to the Kingdom begin here and now to live according to those beliefs. Not just wait till when you get to Heaven to start practicing them.

What am I saying this to mean? I am saying in your daily lives, even in your so-called gatherings, you are meant not to differentiate between sexes, races/tribes, nationality, color, etc. You are

Romans 14:17: The kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (a reflection of heaven). And this is what we are expected to sought after on earth, in our relationship with men and God. And that never invalidates God's standard for man in this world.

-Christ also lived like human and not angel, keeping all rules in God's standards for human.

Christ never asked us to practice unhealthy and unnatural sex life in any way (as you are trying to insinuate). As a matter of fact, He will prefer we remain single (for those God gave such capacity) and channel our strength to God in service and worship. Matthew 19:10-12

-Christ is concerned about marriages here on earth: Matthew 19:1-9
- Paul talked about s*x perversion: Romans 1:24-29

What Christ has done for us is the grace through the help of the Holy Spirit to walk in the guidelines of God and connect us back in fellowship.

There will be sex and gender in Paradise but the born again Christians who are going to heaven will not taste sex again!
So there is a difference between Paradise (the new order of things on planet earth) and Heaven (where Jesus will take his 144,000 corulers)
