You had a window of opportunity to extract yourselves from Nigeria when the owners of Nigeria (the Fulani) had their hands full trying to subdue the 'pesky' Igbo! As things stand today, it would be even harder for any progressive/liberal ethnicity to leave 'one Nigeria', as their ranks have now been infiltrated by too many greedy, self-centred dolts ever ready to kow-tow to the wishes of the muslim core north for pecuniary or political gain.

If you speak to most Igbo, they will tell you Zik made his mistakes especially with regards to relegating his region behind his obsession with nationalism and 'one Nigeria'!

You say Zik 'tried to give the nation to Igbo' in the 60s? How was the fortunes of Nigeria during this time? How was the fortunes of your Yoruba kinsmen during this time...especially when compared with their fortunes today?
