My fellow NL'er, pls has anyone heard about Food Hygiene Initiative of Nigeria (FHIN), what is their mode of recruitment. Cos a friend of mine applied for it, and he was shortlisted for the exercise(after paying #6500 for the form fee), now they are demanding another #50,000 for training fee again. He will still pay another 5k during the training process for uniform, account opening e.t.c. Pls help him out

Someone told me about them. They are are trying to imitate Civil Defence when they started then before they were enacted into the law. It is a trial and error thing to me. They will recruit you after necessary things, though they carry out hygiene work in hotels,boreholes etc. They make hotel owners,borehole owners etc register their premises and penalise offenders who keep their surroundings dirty.

If by chance they recruit you, whenever they are enacted by the Government that is automatic employment.

PS: I was told all these and am not a member yet. This is what I was told by a member encouraging me to join. The person even told me their Director General have had meeting with Buhari,that he chose them over Workforce or so but they are still looking into it. I don't know how true it is.

I learnt minimum pay is like 80k
