Go through the link, it may help you but you should have used a more appropriate word for the person you quoted because the technical stop is not possible presently as the border have been closed for 1year. The only people that are allow into the country are citizens, PR holders, those with travel exemptions and pilot program organised by states and they must be in quarantine for 14days. So getting a transit visa for just 72hours presently is near impossible as you won't be allow to stay in the country for such period, and also the country only welcomes approved airlines at a given time with provision for quarantine for those on board.

Honestly your situation is a bit dicey, Mass communication is not on the Skilled assessment list and getting a visa to study graduate certificate or diploma course from naija is a bit hard, and also no Uni will offer you post graduate degree with HND. Maybe you should look towards another country.

In airline technical stop means you don't have to come down from the plane for few hours 1hr 30min max ..... I only ask for anyone that has gone through Lagos biometric VFS for transit

My explanation simply means you may not even get a flight transiting through the country as only returning Australians are allow on airplane, as regarding your question doubt if you need biometric for transit, go through the link i quoted earlier and see the check list for transit visa.

What would be your advise for me bearing in mind that I’d like to study in Australia?

Please does anyone has first-hand experience of Maritime Crew Visa, this Visa was secured for my colleague along a visiting Visa by an agent to allow him enter Australia by flight given the Crew Visa can not enter by air. I am tempted to take up this option but I want to hear anyone who has experienced this Visa option and the outcome on getting to Australia.

Good Morning House, Please can someone defer their admission from July to February after starting classes and paying school.

For example, I apply for July intake and starting processing visa but the visa grants came buy August or September of which I have started classes. Is it possible to defer this admission to January, and do I need to submit another visa application??

How did you begin classes offshore without enrolling with a visa, in the first place? Is it possible?

Hi guys, im looking to write PTE in a week or two. I tried paying on the pte website with mastercard but it was declined. How can I make this payment ?
Also, I’m looking to choose the UKEAS center in Ikeja Lagos, Is it a good center in terms of equipment i will need ?
I will appreciate answers. Thanks
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by youngfaraday1(m): 11:32am On Mar 26, 2021
For PTE payment, you can use PayPal but your card won't fly. Other options are any of the registered agents that already have PayPal account. Use goggle to search for, last time a friend used Examplanet but they are a couple oh them on goggle.

VickayThrills:
Thank you Sir...

I got two offers from UTAS...
I first applied for Social Work which is what I really want but they gave me an offer with a bridging course to do before the Masters.

I applied again for something close to my Bachelors degree and got the Masters which I want to accept and go with.

However, I plan to switch to the Social Work once I get there because I don't want to apply for my visa with the offer that came with a bridging course.
I just don't want to risk my chances by any means.

Hope I'm not mistaking with the risk of applying for visa with a bridging offer?
Is my move/plan in order?

Hi Vicky, Ill pm you now on social works. Please respond

Good morning, please I want someone to advice me.. I sent a deferment letter to my school for August intake and all I got was this:

Thank you for submitting your request to defer your degree at the University of Wollongong

As you have already deferred for the maximum period of 12 months, we are not able to process any further deferrals for your course.

If you would still like to commence your course at a later time, you must make a new application to the University to be re-considered for entry into the course. New applications can be made by accessing UOWs Apply Online website.

I need someone to advice me on what to do.. Payment made already since last year

They are indirectly forcing you to commence on online study. Try to contact your agent to know the next reasonable step to follow, best regards.

Where did you get your information from?

Naijabad:

As you aspire to study in UTAS, note that the region has no jobs. It is the least developed compared to other cities in Aussie.

I would advise you go ahead with social works as it is currently on Tasmania skill list.

It's okay to just say thank you for the information and walk away even if it's not useful. Someone took out time to respond to you and is not being appreciated. This is why most people don't even try to help and honestly I don't blame them. Maybe we do not know about transit visa or what it entails but this is why the thread is titled 'Australian student visa enquiries'. Nigeria is frustrating enough and the time difference (inclusive of workload + study) for those is Australia can also be exhausting. Let's all do better and not make it any harder for each other. A little love and 'thank you' hasn't killed anybody.
Love and light peeps ✌

Shipping cost, used car more expensive than in America. Another thing is volatility of naira/dollar exchange rate. I can only do it if I have upfront payment .
