Benefits Of The Cross Of Crucified Christ by topshore(f): 1:27pm On Apr 02, 2021
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

We were created by God to do His will and show forth His glory. But through one man(Adam) we rebelled and alienated from our Creator.

Many have tried to reunite with God through their own efforts and self-righteousness of doing good but this was unacceptable by God, as all our righteousness are "filthy rags" before Him(Isaiah 64:6)

However, through the Cross of Jesus Christ, His Death and Resurrection, we are now fully reconciled to God and able to meet up with His standard. We became acceptable to God through the Cross.

Benefits of the Cross
- We gained freedom from sin, satan, sickness, curses, evil covenants and evil foundations.
- Racial barriers were broken and a new relationship established through Christ.
- We have now become members of God's family
- We enjoy God's incomparable love
- The gap btw man and God's place of happiness and better life on earth and the life to come has been bridged.
- Christ's Death on the Cross:
1. Delivered us from the penalty and power of sin
2. Gained us righteousness in place of sin
3. Gives us perfect health in place of sickness
4. Gives us long life in place of untimely death
5. Brought us blessings in place of curses
6. Gave us glory in place of shame
7. Brought us divine acceptance instead of divine condemnation
8. Gave us eternal life rather than eternal hell.
9. Brought us Salvation
10. Reconciled us back to God and helps us in the fulfilling of God's Will and Purpose for our lives.

In order to enjoy these benefits of the Cross, you must give your life to Christ, today for He is the only Way, Truth and Life to God. And if you have given your life to Christ, congratulations!!!. Continue to grow in faith and enjoy more of these benefits in Jesus mighty name.
God bless you.

Happy Good Friday.

Hallelujah! This is the gospel! smiley
I love this : Many have tried to reunite with God through their own efforts and self-righteousness of doing good but this was unacceptable by God, as all our righteousness are "filthy rags" before Him(Isaiah 64:6)

Oh, Christ worshipers! We want an answer to our question from your wise.

If the Lord was murdered by some people’s act…what sort of god is this?

We wonder! Was He pleased by what they did to Him? If yes,
blessed be they..they achieved the pleasure of His

But if He was discontented….this means their power subjugated His!!

Was the whole entity left without a Sustainer… so who answered the prayers?

Were the heavens vacated…when He laid under the ground somewheres?

Were all the worlds left without a God…to manage while His hands were nailed?

Why did not the angles help Him when they heard him while he wailed?

How could the rods stand to bear the True Lord when He was fastened

How could the iron reach Him and His body pinioned?

How could His enemies’ hands reach Him and slap His rear

And was Christ revived by himself…or the Reviver was another god?

What a sight it is!A grave that enclosed a god!
What’s more weird is the belly that had Him in it!

He stayed there for nine months in utter darkness…fed by blood!

Then he got out of the womb as a small baby,
weak and gaping to be breastfed!

He ate and drank, and did what that naturally resulted in
Is this a god??!!

High Exalted be Allah above the lies of Christians
All of them will be held accountable for their libels

Oh cross worshipers…for what reason is it exalted
and blamed who rejects it?

Is it not the logic to break and burn it along with the one who innovated it?

Since the Lord was crucified on it…and his hands were fastened to it?

That is really a cursed cross to carry…so discard it
Don’t kiss it!

The Lord was abused on it…and you adore it?
So you are one of His enemies!!

If you extol it because it carried the Lord of the worlds

why don’t you prostrate yourself and worship graves,

since the grave contained your god in it?

So, Christ worshiper, open your eyes,
this is what the matter is all about..

- Christ's Death on the Cross:
1. Delivered us from the penalty and power of sin
The Penalty of Sin, which is Death, which is not to confused with Sin itself or bondage to sin since those who are saved from Death, the judgment placed on mankind for their unbelief since Adam, can still choose to continue sinning though they will never be condemned again to Death.

John 3 vs 16-21 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16. “For God so loved the world,[i] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
18. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

2. Gained us righteousness in place of sin
Righteousness belongs only to those who are saved from Death and chose then to continue on to obey(trust) and obey the teachings/commandments of Jesus Christ.

John 14 vs 23-26
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
23. Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them.
24. But anyone who does not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not really mine. It is from my Father who sent me.
25. “I have told you all these things while I am with you.
26. But the Helper will teach you everything and cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name.

3. Gives us perfect health in place of sickness
Jesus Christ never promised this to His followers... in fact He promised them that there will be suffering and tribulations, and sickness is a form of suffering. undecided

4. Gives us long life in place of untimely death
Long life? Again, Jesus Christ never promised His followers any of this, and this can be seen from the fact that He and the majority of His own disciples themselves were met with "untimely" deaths.undecided
topshore:
5. Brought us blessings in place of curses
There are curses included as part of the New Covenant that is Jesus Christ, particularly on those who teach falsehoods and deceive others into sin as a result.

Mark 7 vs 1-13 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Now when the Pharisees gathered to him, with some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem,
2. they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed.
3. (For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands properly,[a] holding to the tradition of the elders,
4. and when they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions that they observe, such as the washing of cups and pots and copper vessels and dining couches.[c])
5.
And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?”
6. And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,
“‘This people honors me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me;

7. in vain do they worship me,
teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

8. You leave the commandment of God and hold to the (doctrines and rules)** tradition of men.”
9. And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition!
10. For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’
11. But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban”’ (that is, given to God)[d]—
12. then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother,
13. thus making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”
** substituted from another Bible translation for better understanding of what is impacted
The above sin carries with it a severe curse that nullifies the very power of the Word of God in the lives of those who partake and those who imbibe the doctrines and traditions of men, which Jesus Christ clearly declares as lies told in His name.
See Matthew 23(the entire chapter) for a list of other curses that are part of the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, the Law in the Kingdom of God

8. Gave us eternal life rather than eternal hell.
Am afraid there is no guarantee given you or anyone that salvation which you received from Death(condemnation of sin - not to be confused with sin itself), comes with a guarantee of Heaven. No, eternal life(grace) which you are given when you are saved, can be spent in either Heaven of Hell, depending on choices you make after receiving salvationundecided
According to Jesus Christ, only those who go on to accept and obey His teachings/commandments will His Spirit abide in, and it is them, who are born of the Spirit of God that will enter into Heaven. The rest, though they have grace(eternal life) are bound to spend their eternity in Hell. undecided

The only way for one to grow in faith is to continue to accept and obey the teachings/commandments of Jesus Christ, which one first did when one chose to obey Him by believing in Him. undecided
