The strongest material on earth sef is not even metal. No other than a carbon element— Diamond. Yes that's right. Diamond is the hardest shït on earth iirc, it will even cut through metals with EASE.

Since it's from his own body/scales/ armour. They negate each other. Although would do some damage.

I didn't like not seeing some serious markings from that strike but it's forgivable. After all, it seems Godzilla recovers rapidly.

Secondly, the spiked ridge on his back is stronger than his skin. This is normal for any reptile, especially crocodiles. The back is with hard armor-like spikes but the underbelly is soft.

Godzilla also took an axe hit to the head. That should have been lights out. Even if you argue (wrongly) that his head is armoured too, the brain would have been rattled to the point of unconsciousness

Godzilla has survived things far more powerful than that axe strike, imagine if it was Kong that got hit in the head instead
