I AGREE! Not with the exact words used. It'd be great if we can keep this thread useful with really important things. NL doesn't pay for additional pages or threads. A lot of unnecessary conversations and arguments here IMO.

We should all wait for the next phase and hope for the best.

Knowing when it would come out doesn't necessarily change the outcome. Feels like most of you want to see the future. It's a great role certainly, it'd turn things around for you (definitely and that's the prayer). But patiently waiting is not a bad thing. It's okay if the thread stays silent through Easter and comes alive when there is USEFUL information. People actually come to check this thread for USEFUL information, so it's sad when you go through and you see nothing helpful at all. And even the USEFUL info is hard to find because of unnecessary convos.

It was because of pressure when some big ogas came to Es when he came back from morocco both the bayelsa state and local government chiefs tooo and we're demanding that thier children didn't meet up so he said instead of giving them alone it should be reduced to 50 then that was what brought the second mail.. but we hope by God grace most persons would be invited too... Most contents of this thread are speculations and reactions to speculations to the NCDMB recruitment.....even the allegation of scam was a fallout of a supposed speculation. I don’t think I’ve seen anything related to sports and politics or any other thing so alien.

We are conglomerates of people from different backgrounds and orientations, it will be an over-expectation (if not fantasy) to imagine complete quietness. Nairaland doesn’t offer administrative control options over thread. Besides, there are usually multiple speculations (and sources) here at anytime, most times warranting multiple reactions. Not all of them may be beneficial to you per time, perhaps coz of the anxiety level. It happens to me so many times. But that’s why you have the ultimate choice to filter, or detach in a worst case scenario. It’s not like this is a paid subscription where you have the right to informational services. We dey just collect am as we see am.

And maybe it’s a bit unfair for someone to summarily call everyone here lousy just coz the thread is not as ideal as they want.

I doubt this will be the case....unless they did not review the documents of those in the second batch, no sensible recruiter we let go of a more qualified applicant just because another applicant scored about 10-15 points more in an unsupervised and "free to cheat test".
I believe at this point it is more about qualification than test score.

Your only concern should have been my use of “supposed speculation”.

But I will go on and explain regardless.

Every other source, including mine (with all humility), confirmed that shortlisting had been concluded even before you came to make a post about someone uploading documents here two days ago.

While I couldn’t argue with you publicly (perhaps the problem was from your source), I have the right to my opinion that that was a “supposed speculation”.
