She should go to her state child welfare, they would direct her to orphanges that are licensed by the state. Ensure you register the child with the state government oo and properly document with the orphanage home, that way the child is safe pending when you've got your life together, then you can go back for your child

I believe that every individual on this planet would like to know who their biological parents were, adopted or not...To avoid the stories that touches, orphanage will be a better place to go. There, you can state the kind of adoption process that you want... if it's the one that gives the adopted parent total control with undisclosed address or the one that will give the biological parent a little hope of seeing the child again or have a little access...I don't know much about adoption but I believe they will guide u there...whatever you decide, the interest of the child should be of paramount important please...wishing u and your friend the best..
