MMA fighter Khetag Pliev lost his finger during his Fighting Championships bout.

He was rushed to the hospital immediately and the finger was reattached.

Pliev agonisingly lost his finger during the first rounds of his fight against Devin Goodale.

The incident was shown live at the fight venue in Philadelphia, as they searched for his lost finger.

After the injury was discovered, officials searched around and asked the public if they saw the finger.

The finger was later found detached inside Pliev's glove.

His opponent Goodale was crowned the winner by technical knockout in the second round.

Good job by the medical who reattached the finger... I doubt he will be back in the hexagon to ever fight again.

What a disgrace. It's actually a No Contest. The only way he could lose was if his ass was handed to him throughout the first round.

MMA keeps finding ways to become more dangerous as years pass. People have died in the octagon although few. A lot of men are punch drunk from repeated blows to the head. It's a matter of time before the UFC claims its first life. The stupid fans keep pushing more for such a scenario.

I really dont like any form of sports that has violence in it. Why would you tell two persons to hit themselves for a prize?
