Boxer Tyson Fury has said he is "ready for war" with Deontay Wilder in February despite concerns the severe cuts suffered in his heavyweight win over Otto Wallin could delay any fight, MySportDab reports.

Speaking to BBC Sport as he was ushered through the airportin Las Vegas on Sunday, the 31-year British fighter said "just over 40 stitches" were needed for two cuts suffered against Wallinon Saturday.

"I went to the hospital, had a few stitches, went home and had an early night," he said.

"Then I've got up, gone to the casino, won five grand, had a few beers and now I'm going to have a few more beers."

Fury added: "I'm ready for war. I think it was just over 40 stitches inside and out with both the cuts.

"Listen I'm all right. It's boxing. You can't go swimming and not get wet. It's the fight game."

Tyson Fury was taken straight to hospital following his fight with Otto Wallin after suffering a brutal cut above his eye.

Fury beat Wallin by unanimous decision after being taken 12 rounds by the Swede.

But Fury had to deal with a nasty cut to the eye for most of the fight with some even fearing he may not be able to continue.

And rather than do the media duties after the match Fury was taken straight to hospital to get his cut checked out.

Before the fight, Tyson Fury said he can beat Andy Ruiz with ONE HAND. I believe him, because he beat Otto Wallin with ONE EYE . Gypsy King of southpaw moves.

Fury doesn't even have a heavy punch, he's not a heavy puncher but his boxing skills is beyond excellent. If Fury was a strong heavy puncher like Wilder or Joshua, nobody can beat him, and he would have been destroying his opponents in 1 round. His southpaw movement game is just too much. Same level with Mohammed Ali, but his height and reach even gives Fury a stronger game than Ali had.
