You mean out of nothing you earn, you still dash a pastor money?

Damn

That’s the big fish in the pond- once they are told the story of how the poor widow cooked her last oil and served the prophet Elijah instead of eating it herself, and how she became forever sufficient- then the gullible church members now see it as sacrilegious not to pay their tithe even if they earn N7k a month. That’s the mind manipulation these pastors carry on their members weekly and monthly thereby throwing their members deeper into abject poverty - And the members will never accept the fact that the man at the pulpit is leveraging on their collective stupidity to maximize his earnings by playing on their emotions. And they will see the Pastor move from being a tenant to build his own house —- they will be clapping for him, He will buy a new car, and say some random person blessed him with it, He will be feeding fine with his family and put on decent designer clothes and the church members proudly put his picture sticker on their door post and booth of their jalopy to help advertise their pastor - He will send his kids overseas to go to school, he will build schools with their tithes that they church members can’t afford to send their own kids to. To add insult upon injury, He will start sleeping with their daughters and commit adulterous acts with the pretty wives of the church members ravaging them with impunity- And when the ministry hits the peak, he buys private jet with their tithes, offerings and seed faith and then continue the insult on them preaching sermons that they lack the faith to make it and that the poor members are suffering from generational curses bla bla bla Hmmmm na wa ! - Religion and Traditional Monarchy is the biggest fraud holding Africans perpetually in poverty and Africans love it more than their very existence so poverty will remain with the people, sadly!

The truth is whichever level you find yourself you will survive one way or the other. When I was earning N30,000 not too long ago I was surviving. I was a single parent with one daughter but we were managing somehow. I had neighbors who had wives and up to three kids earning the same salary and they were coping too. With that salary your desires are instinctively put in check. I didn't have a television, DVD player, home theater and so many furniture and I didn't bother. It didn't even cross my mind that I needed them because the money no even dey to buy them even if I wanted. I didn't have deep freezer or fridge or even gas burners. I just made do with basic cooking utensils and kept my mattress on the floor.

It was when my salary began to increase that I began to buy other items. Just take life jeje and everything will fall in place.
you are very much on point, no matter the little amount one earn, you will definitely have a way to cope with it pending till when something better comes up.

Earning peanut is not good no doubt. but nonetheless, it's not a yardstick to steal or commit crimes.

No matter how good or rossy our economy is, social stratification is bound to exist.

Accepting whichever situation one found his/herself, living within your means and be hopeful for a better tomorrow.

May God help us all.

When you live in a civilised country where vote bring people to power, it's easy to assume Nigerians are the direct cause of their misfortunes.

Do you know the quality of candidates our political parties chun out for elections out of whom the electorates now choose from?

Ask those who served as ad-hoc INEC staffs at pooling units as corpers around the north and some other part of the country what election means to them. People really think our vote means anything. I'm telling you for a fact that if there's zero turnout at any general election, INEC will still apportion figures and declare a winner.

Every fabrics of true democracy has been fed to the dogs. Don't lemme start telling you how I ran for my life as a corper in Abuja at one of the open primary elections APC conducted in my time there.
True. It's a really sad case. But not only in Nigeria are votings rigged. It happens everywhere around the world! Even the recent US elections was horribly rigged!

No Nigerians is talking about the root cause of inflation here which is Devaluation Nigeria naira currency as been devalued like 3 times in six month by CBN

Meaning Nigerians are
Morons they don't have sense only to play evil politics and cheat their fellow they know you are all senseless monkeys

The stupid government did not increase salaries to absorb the effect of inflations in local market caused by Devaluation of naira three times in a roll

This people are still planning to devalue the naira once again

Good for Nigerians you people will have sense by force vicious apes

Yet to get a job though. I am a web designer/developer, also a graphic designer but getting clients has been a huge problem this year. I see a lot of folks getting jobs and then I wonder what exactly am I doing wrong.

Recently sat for an online exam for an outsourcing firm (VLA). Yet to get my result or invite.

Please, who knows a thing or two about VLA exams? I am seriously confused about what next to do

For the main time, I'm still hustling at Alaba int'l market. Check my signature, please. Thank you

You said you sat for the online exam so I don't understand why you're still asking about the exams again. I believed if you're picked, you will be interviewed according to the line of duty/work you fill in for. I really prays it's not what am thinking honestly...

Going by the inflation, recession and whatever thing they use to qualify this hardship we are facing in this country at the moment, how do you most salary earners cope?

When I say salary earners, I mean those earning 50k, 40k, 30k, 25k and some even 25k to 10k. Not you that's bagging 100k and above, you be oil worker jor.

So, I see most families where the man being the head of the family, is a private school teacher. Of course we all know how much they are payed nothing. Same with most company or factory casual workers. How do you guys manage to cope with family at this crucial time?

It's not like I'm earning big or own any business, but one good job in month will cover me for some times. Since I'm not married yet, it just myself and my aged mum that I think of.

So how do you manage your 30k that it will last you for a month, Assuming your extra teaching after school will cover your transportation to and from working place?

The delivery for bike per day is #1350 per day for just 5 days (monday-friday) alone that is, #6750 a week.

Keke napep delivery is #3000 per day for 5 days(monday-friday) alone that is, #15000 a week

Nigerians are so docile. All this hardship and you watch your leaders pillage what belongs to you, live their best lives of opulence while you keep praying to God? As I type, oga is in London enjoying peace and fresh air at your expense while most of you live in abject poverty.

When you are ready to take the war to your leaders and take your country back, Nigeria will get better.

Until then, sai baba to you all!

Which government are talking about? Same government that has refused vehemently to sign 50k as minimum wage. Yet they buy luxury cars to gift their co thieves in power always, probably after a huge looting.

This has nothing to do with being patriotic, nigerians don't deserve all these punishment they are getting from their leaders.
It's pathetic and inhumane

NIGERIANS DESERVE THE PUNISHMENT!
CAN'T YOU SEE THAT SOME USELESS YOUTHS ARE STILL SUPPORTING AN IDIOT LIKE TINUBU AS PRESIDENT? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY? DON'T THEY DESERVE WHATEVER THEY GET?

I'm currently on 28k salary as a graduate in Kano. honestly, it's not been easy. everything is being spent on food and transportation. Nothing to flex with, no money for shopping, clubbing, electricity gadgets or girlfriend. I'm currently contemplating on venturing into smartphone repairing but I don't know how to combine it with my teaching job.

Whenever I am traveling to visit my family for the weekend, I withdraw 30k on Friday before leaving Lagos for ibadan and by Monday when I return back to Lagos, I will barely have upto #3-#4k remaining on me without drinking or spending on Olosho nor doing any unnecessary extracurricular activities, just on my family, probably one outing after service on sunday. I always wonder how individuals who earn within this range permonth in my env, cope with life.
This country is a mess already, our std of living is too low, the poor are getting poorer while the rich are getting richer, one day the son of the poor that couldn't afford to go to a school due to lack of funds will ask questions from the sons and daughters of the rich... I pray something is done real quick to fix the economy and improve the std of living of the people.

I wept the day a graduate told me she earns N21,000 as a teacher! I have seen a husband and wife work in the same private school

How them won take cope Na to incur debts and go on borrowing spree hoping to find another better job

Still go on hunger strike, living within your means no be for this matter

Imagine paying for shelter (even a room), feeding your kids, transportation, paying school fees miscellaneous e.t.c from N21,000

It's terrible! Nigerians are roughed men! I give it to them!!!

Many of these private schools can afford to pay a better salary but instead they prefer to buy properties and keep building schools at the detriment of their staffs

If the government can help families by regulating some of these private schools also in terms of salaries, it will be a step forward!!!

Why did they get married. Even me, I make $300,000 a year and I am still single. Although I am a little ugly, but you get the point. Poor people should not get married.
