Nobody is comparing the dead to the living. It is a taboo in Yoruba culture because it means you are calling for the death of the living. If you have a good upbringing, you won't come online to call for anyone's death. If it is folks like you who, in arrogance,regularly haul insults at people and call them unprintable names who are supporting Egbon , it just means you want to continue in his legacy of insulting Asiwaju and others, a bitter character he took on in his latter days when he became sick.

They are not fair to the old man at all, the news should have been kept away from him .....they should have allow instincts to suggest demise of his son to him or at most informed him much later that the Yinka is critically ill. Breaking the news to him is just like being ready to kill the
