From the headlines you would think they burnt the whole HQ down. They just followed all the vehicles in the compound.

Doubt anyone would claim responsibility.

The SW is not trouble-free...
But there’s NOTHING remotely resembling “anarchy” in the SW.

Irony in the SE is the state governors visit these burnout police stations and pledge to rebuild them...
In the process, funds that may have otherwise gone to schools, hospitals, etc., go to rebuilding police stations.

for your information... Very few people use kerosene now...how many people take flight? So does ones do not have much impact.... I still repeated.. There are areas the government can tax the rich politicians... Why not impose heavy tax on people with more than one or two vehicles... It is done elsewhere in Europe

Governments in Nigeria (at federal, state and local levels) are the single biggest car owners and users...
Thus government should not be subsidizing its own CONSUMPTION with funds better expended on human capital development.

BTW, aviation is not limited to folks who “take flights”, it is an efficient means of logistics (as well as massive employer of labor).

That's d same reason why nigeria ceded bakassi to Cameroon based on International law and local law didn't take precedence
Now you are getting it wrong even more. Bakkasi people determined to be in Nigeria but because Nigeria agreed to cede their homelands to Cameroon they were left to either remain in Cameroon and be citizens of Cameroon or relocate to Nigeria and be Nigerians.
The reason Cameroon took Nigeria to court is because Nigeria had earlier ceded Bakassi to Cameroon but reneged. The treasonable actions going on now will be met with greivious repercussions. Self determination is treason. African charter or no African charter, there is no country called African charter.

So what’s the difference between taxing car owners and higher fuel prices, which is effectively a DIRECT USAGE tax?
As it is, many (probably most) Nigerians presently do not pay their taxes (or full taxes), why would another tax be any different?

The price of diesel has been completely DEREGULATED for several years now...
Yet that is the fuel that truckers use to move goods around Nigeria and buses use to ferry ordinary Nigerians across the country.

Rule you? Why should we want to rule slaves of prophet muhamMAD/MuhamMENTAL? Nigeria does not want the Igbo; the Igbo don't want Nigeria. It's quite simple.
Then why are you angry because you we did not allow you to rule? You are one of the major tribes in Nigeria but you cant rule why is that? grin

This is how Boko Haram started. From targeting security outposts to attacking prisons. We have had enough experiences to warn you that no matter how genuine your agitations are, resorting to war and lawlessness will never be a solution. Both Muslims and Christians in the North have lost thousands of their loved ones to the insurgency that serves nobody.

It's strange that a lot of people are sympathetic to the Biafra agitators, and the fact that many of such young guys were not born to witness the humanitarian catastrophes the civil war had caused in 1969.

Elders in the South East should call these people to order.

Bleep off with the civil war bullshit. We all die once and we have sworn to bring this country down. You guys have killed and marginalised our people for long, enough is enought
We are ready to fight another war bro, and the difference is that we know who our targets are. The civilians got nothing to worry abt.

This is what injustice breeds - anarchy ,violence and lawlessness. The highly nepotistic government of Buhari that believes that it can place Fulanis and their interests over and above that of the other ethnic groups in the country should be held responsible for all of this.

Buhari and those crazy Miyetti nonsense terrorists have already set Nigeria on fire with their stupid attempts to force the senseless fulani hegemonic agenda on the country.

What is going on in the East now is just a kind of dress rehearsal for the impending catastrophic crisis that will finally delete the name Nigeria on the world map ! Those idiots who believe that they are "born to rule" will soon start ruling their fellow blood sucking demons and terrorists in the evil forests of Futa jallon.

On Oduduwa nation we stand !

But going against the constitution to try make citizens inferior in their own country and enshrine the supremacy of one section is not treason?

It is an inalienable right for a collective people to seek self determination as guaranteed by intestinal law. Tell your paymasters to keep going on their evil path and agenda, when the referendum finally happens, you'll see.

why must it be fuel...if I can still remember, we produce fuel why is it expensive... Because over the years we have very stupid people in government who couldn't train our people on oil exploration so we now pay the expatriate to determine the fuel price...it is like me growing cassava and still buy it at expensive rate...all our political leaders have their brain in their anus
