i know different district have slightly different rules but in all of those district you have to Identify yourself or have someone ID you. without documents to prove who you are or someone identifying you there is no voting for you. That is that. both of you can chose to play semantics but being Id'd before voting is the right thing to do and everyone should support it because most 1st world countries do it. My mistake. You don't need to have filed a tax to vote if that is what you are basing your argument on. You only need to be a Canadian citizen and 18 years to be able to vote. At age of 14, I can enter my kids on the list of future electors.
