It's no longer news that unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network attacked the Nigerian Correctional Services and the police headquarters in Imo State, freeing 1,844 inmates, after which the hoodlums set cars and other properties ablaze.

To prevent such a similar thing from happening in Anambra state, the Anambra state police command have made a commendable and smart move. According to reports, the police have blocked the road leading to the Anambra police headquarters. The road host the popular Amawbia prison. Motorist have been advised yo use alternative routes.

Photos shared on social media captured some people trekking long distances with their luggages.

Some Facebook users lamented about the blockage revealing they trekked from Amawbia to Akwa

This is exactly what I don't understand.

Why putting the lives of the same people you are claiming of fighting/protecting for in danger?

Why should Anambra residents have to go through all this because some unknown gunmen are angry... Sins of few, hardship on many...

And that heartless Kanu boy is enjoying the scene.. Anything to bring zoo down in his delusional thinking .. Same zoo their grannies couldn't bring down..

To those who have been hailing ESN, Ipob, Unknown gunmen, the zoo can't go down except your region.. Boko haram is over 10 years + yet none exist in Southern part of Nigeria..
