History555: Go tell this garbage to the MILLIONS of Igbos who earn their living in other regions of Nigeria. Most of whom would lose their businesses and suffer greatly were secession to occur. |

funkekemi: Elders can scold and attack you harshly when you think and reason like a donkey. In fact that is their duty. Not to pamper and spoil you with soft and gentle words, but to drive the foolishness out of your head. War and death is not about talking gently. If you choose to be dumb, millions of your people will perish, and the rest of the world will move on as if nothing happened. 1 Like |

@op war is not good n no one prays for it but will rather be a slave in your own country? do you know the north thinks they alone own this country.....why cant they make things normal...what is hard to let equity, justice n fairness thrive in Nigeria? everywhere n ever thing is northernized n you ask those suffering to keep quite....freedom is not asked for, its taken! 1967 and 2021 are two different things....the first war was fought in the east but this coming war will be fought in the whole of Nigeria just mark it! |

valentineuwakwe: Buhari is there for ONE AND HALF YEARS at most, and we would have a southern president. Quite possibly an Igbo president. THAT changes a LOT of things, which so many of you are so blind and myopic to. Many of you talk as if Buhari is there forever. For crying out loud this is a DEMOCRACY as stipulated by the Constitution. If you do not like the current trajectory of the govt, organise and vote in a new govt. SIMPLE. But no. Your thick skulls will not allow the process to take its due course. You hate the current president. ''Oh let us break up the country''. ''Oh the country is failed'', ''Oh we must secede'', ''Oh there is no hope for Nigeria''. I mean, what the hell is wrong with you people? 1 Like |

zombieHUNTER: If the East finds that security is lax, and create ESN to fight killer herdsmen, that is within their right, and no one criticises that. It is secessionism and IPOBism that will lead to a war that will annihilate 10 million times the number of Igbos that Fulani herdsmen have killed, or could ever kill. So use your brain. It is not there for decoration. |

Rosskiiku: igbos after the war was given £1 but now, we are faring better than 1970. Igbos owe businesses up and down like you said. Seize all igbos properties in less than 10 years, they will still be better than you 1 Like |

Dymaco: You forget that they prospered because they were re-integrated into Nigeria, and allowed to settle across Nigeria and do business as part of Gowon's 'No vIctor, no vanquished' policy. It could all have been VERY different. The Igbos had surrendered, were starving, and had no weapons. Oh, and Ojukwu had fled. The Igbos could easily have been genocided by Nigerian forces. They were completely at the mercy of Nigeria. It was Gowon's phone call to the troops that made them halt military activities, after Effiong surrendered. Gowon could have asked them to go for the kill, and there would have been NO Igboland today. So shut up and count your blessings. If not for Gowon's kindness, YOU probably wouldn't be alive today. 1 Like |

History555: Did Obasanjo not deal with all the over ambitious Generals and Army Officers after he got into Power retiring 90 of them in a single day? He put Gen Bamaiyi the Chief of Army Staff of Abacha in Jail and he was there for 15 years until Jonathan released him. They were untouchable before then. Chief Gani Fawehinmi once described Gen Abacha as Nebuchadnezzar so you could imagine what his Cheif of Army Staff was like. |

Rosskiiku: Haaaaaah! Adventures of a fake, blind, and Fulani class historian! Many countries who fought civil wars did so on basic human principles like slavery, unfair taxation, or religious persecution. After these wars, these countries picked up their ruins, corrected their structural problems, and then developed strong vibrant societies. Is Nigeria better after their civil war or worse? What did Nigeria fight the civil war for? Before some ignorant folk begins to say Igbo coup, let them think about it again, because much more Igbo officers were killed in the so called revenge coup led by the Danjumas of this World. So, who provided the false narratives that led to the killing of about a million suspected Igbos in the north? Remember the poor children and women murdered in cold blood, because someone "saw" rejoicing and singing ewu na ebe akwa! Today, Fulanis are killing, rapping, and kidnapping, and yet nobody is calling for ethnic cleansing of Fulanis in Nigeria. Danjuma, the middle belters like Gowon foolishly bought the Fulani narrative about Igbos. The west also fell for Fulani manipulation of events leading to the war. Let's not even focus on the southern minorities for swallowing Fulani narratives whole! Congratulations to the Fulanis, because they had managed to stay behind the curtain, and manipulate other tribes to take on the Igbos for them. This is the reason why Nigeria of today is far worse than Nigeria of yesterday, we ---Igbos, Hausas, Tivs, Yorubas, Nupes, etc were better of before the war than after the glorious vanquish of Igbos. So, who benefited from the war really? Ask Danjuma, who is now sounding alarm like Ojukwu did in the 1960s. Ask OBJ who is now lamenting "fulanization " of Nigeria. Ask the south Kaduna, Benue Plateau natives who helped Fulanis massacre Igbos what they are doing in IDP camps, while their native villages are being renamed Fulani communities. Unfortunately, Buhari and his Fulani cabal have easily recruited semi educated, self righteous, and self serving internet trolls like you to help them change the narrative in 2021. We're not fooled. 5 Likes |

SenatePresdo: Some Igbos I know from that period felt they were misled into thinking they stood a chance and were bitter when some leaders abandoned them. As we can see, some Igbos are hell bent on revenge by destroying Nigeria in order to create Biafra, while some are determined to help make Nigeria great. Depends on the version of history they know I suppose, but a repeat of then, which is likely, will be more pregnant kids. It depends how it's seen, I guess. |

History555: I'm not a Yoruba, you brainless donkey. Neither am I Hausa-Fulanl. I'm a Nigerian. And I'm telling YOU that Biafra does not exist, and if you try to come up against Nigeria, you will perish with your family. If you disagree, let us go to war, my guns and bombs versus your cutlass and matchet. |

Rosskiiku: Yeah this is true Dymaco: Lol, do you think it will be possible if they didn't allow igbos to prosper in other regions? Why do,you think,an Igbo man was made the vice president after? You think £1 will sustain them if they had stayed in Igbo land after destructions? What will £1 do? I know you don't know that they were given free education in the west those who were in the SW before. Or it is £1 pound that will pay their school fess Some of you talk like an ignorant |
