Google the name and find out yourself, you learn better that way.

Note: that picture is not very clear, I know the panel is a brand and has a footprint here in Alaba.

If this company/dude wants to refund you, all they need you to do is ship the products back and send you another working one. I don't understand why they want the user's phone information. Ain't the company getting the bad batteries back?

I've had a company in same China, replace a bad controller without physically seeing the damaged one. All they saw were videos and pictures of the bad one and the next thing I got was a call from the UPS to pick another controller FREE of any charge (shipping and whatsoever).

I think the WECO guys do not want to replace the bad batteries, instead they want to "fix" it which is impossible as it stands now.

This is why some fear dealing with some Chinese companies, they find it hard to honor warranty. They often behave like sellers in most Nigerian markets that'll tell you that their product has a one year warranty, if it fails in six months, they'll start telling you you caused the failure (even when all you did was use it without being abusive to it). They simply HATE to honor warranty.

I just bought some device which a Chinese told me I have two years warranty on the lithium batteries that comes with it, I laugh. The best I can hope for is pray that the device does not fail within that period, for I know they won't be honouring any thing.

Is WECO Chinese? One of the reason I find MPP to be good..... They honour their warranty very well.

We just heard one side of the story. Are there other Weco users here with similar problem?

I think WECO is Europe and coincidentally the few Chinese I have dealt with honoured their warranty.

Lucky you.... wish more of 'em, including our Naija dealers, learn to honor warranty that they gave.

The timer is not internet enabled. It works with your mains or gen.

The smart socket works with internet, you control via mobile app. You can turn on or off a device at home from your office and many other functions.

As said here by mctfopt

8 batteries on the minimum, with a good hybrid inverter 5KVA or a very good premium Inverter if the pocket allows because you will need to factor idle and working consumption of the inverter as that can leech away the energy stored.

And since grid isn't always as expected sometimes, a future plan for solar should be considered and if I guess from your text, its a 24/7 running scenario.

An inverter with LVD is better consider so in case grid fails and the system is working the inverter cuts off at say 50% DOD .... Just to ensure you get yourself out of trouble.

Cheers

Which inverters with LCD that are pocket friendly do you recommend boss. Also can you recommend standalone LVD's that can be connected to already installed systems.... Thanks alot boss

Elders in the house, please, what is the minimum size of inverter that I can use to power a 1.5hp submersible pump? I only need it to run for about an hour every 3 days. Thanks.

Good evening,

Your definition of pocket friendly might be different from mine but for a two years warranty covered inverter with a good review and bang for money, you should consider the growatt inverter

About a standalone LVD
Victron Bp is a good choice to give a try - Victron battery protect

You don't need other Victron components to use it.... That's the good news about it.

They were very upset by the video and the fact that I threatened legal action. Someone else was assigned to the account and cooler and calmer heads have prevailed. They are sending me replacement batteries and I should have them next week. Thanks for your comments
