olopan:Thanks alot for the input boss. I've been looking at reviews for growatt after your recommendation and it really seems to be a solid next step. If you can spare a few more minutes of your time, I would still like to ask a few more questions boss. Based on the fact that growatt is mostly transformer less, which isn't much of a problem in developed countries due to their strict compliance with electrical wiring codes, but in a place like Nigeria where wiring is mostly done poorly and good earthing is almost non existent,, is going transformer less not going to be a problem down the stretch and how does one compensate for such issues? Or from your experience, its really not a problem? Thanks alot for your time. 2 Likes |

My charge controller from zero this morning is presently reading over 2000Watts. Does this represent the power generated so far by the panels? If yes,the panels are just 6 units of 160 watts totally 960watts ,how possible is this?

So far so good, neither of our installed Growatt hybrid have had issues The ways to avoid problem is to look at the installation from a different POV, Let's say power comes in and goes out. The grid should say feed your inverter L-N directly for charging and bypass and the inverter output L-N feeds the loads .. Both should never at least ideally converge. In other terms Neutral link bar is not to be shared between Grid and Inverter. A lot of things can go wrong in the future. Not a problem, per say if all installation guidelines are followed jamesid29: |

Can the growth be used with air-conditioning?. Yes, it can as long as you have all your factors checked to see the surge and AC capacity will fit the inverter [quote author=babniyen post=100672055]Can the growth be used with air-conditioning?. |

Just Emmanuel have been advertising LG inverter ac for sale. I bought 2 from him, only to realize that this AC's are not made by LG and they don't have inverter compressor. See the the pictures below. The company that manufactured the AC is called LGEFF Electronics. I tried googling about this company and came up with nothing. After installing it, the AC behaved exactly like the normal AC with a normal surge. The LG logo print on the AC is poorly done. Each time I compare these AC's with the ones I bought from LG outlet(Fouani), there is a world of difference. I wasted money. I would have bought Hisense inverter AC for the same price. I called just Emmanuel and told him about all my observation, he was insisting the AC is made by LG & it has inverter compressor. I also bought 10mm2 PV cable from him at a very cheap price, only to discover that, it's not 10mm2 but somewhere btw 6mm2 & 8mm2. Olopan can bear witness. I personally will never have any dealing with Just Emmanuel. justcallmenuel: 9 Likes

sintolord: The website LGEFF.com does not exist, and I think that's a big red flag. Nigerians will always collaborate with Chinese to copy any goods doing well and try to pass it off as original. Thanks for bringing it here as I'll be wary when buying ACs. Never knew that they now fake those! Damn. I thought that the clones (a.k.a 1:1 if you ask the Chinese) are more in the battery section. Anyways justcallmanuel, come and explain to the house who LGEFF is. I don Google tire. 4 Likes |

sintolord:You’ve always been a complainant right from the first time you chatted me up for 1.5kva 24v Schneider inverter (08-01-20), I should’ve listened to my instinct and not do business with you. If you think you can destroy the good name I’ve built for years on this forum, you lie bro. Stay safe and enjoy your Sunday 1 Like |

justcallmenuel:maxi sorry but you have not refuted the allegations that this was not an original lg ac. Kindly address the issues raised and leave any other sentiment aside. These are weighty allega6wgich need a proper and concise explanation/rebuttal from you. The question is are the acs you are selling original LG inverter airconditioners? Simple and short 14 Likes |

justcallmenuel: This is the equivalent of admitting guilt. There is nothing wrong with being a "complainant" or in other words being very careful in ensuring that the little money you have is giving you the maximum possible. Forget the complainant stuff and address the AC and the cable issue. I have done business with you before and I belief that you are one of the good ones. So, explain this with automatic alacrity to retain my, and others' confidence. 11 Likes |

i nearly fell for this, when i was shopping for an inverter AC, most LG inverter Ac in Nigerian Market are fake.(expect from fouani or trusted LG distributors) i have to later settle for a london used Samsung inverter AC and it has been performing well ever since i filled gas and installed it. the price difference with alaba/most electronics shop inverter AC 1hp prices always hovers around 100k to 140k, while fouani and other accredited dealer sells @162k and above. but callmenuel, u no try oo. there is specific need. when an inverter user needs an inverter AC, u should have told him the difference in price. this 127k inverter AC u are marketing is fake and u know it! 8 Likes |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by omotoda(m): 11:34am On Apr 11, 2021 |
Valto: My advice has always been if there is a known distributor for a product, visit their office and buy.99% of products in Alaba are not from direct manufacturers. If you buy known brands from Alaba, just know you are on your own. You would also observe their prices are always lower than what the major outlets sell. Just like you would notice a recent post for Felicity batteries, you would be shocked that these are not from Felicity office in Nigeria hence the warranty will be voided. 2 Likes |

Just Emmanuel, you are a disappointment to yourself & business. You came to Nairaland to lambast me while on whatsapp you are begging me. Shame on you. As for the Schneider Inverter, that's what I wanted to buy but you where trying to sweet talk to buy another brand which I refused. Immediately, I called Kiekie & I bought 2 from him. How did I complain. Like I said, shame on you Just Emmanuel justcallmenuel: 4 Likes

sintolord: Similar to this man's experience, I purchased a DC iron from Emmanuel sometime last year. I inquire about the hotness of the iron before making the purchase and he assured me that it was very hot. Sadly, I made payment, had a lot of issues collecting the item from the transport company used, and finally tested the product. The performance was less than expected. I chatted him up and his response was that o was the only one that had complained about the product and I shouldn't expect a DC iron to perform like an AC iron. I wasn't seeking a refund. I was just not okay with the said product. The experience was indeed a terrible one. The iron has been in my box since then. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guys. My kartel 3.5kva inverter dosen't show loading capacity despite there being a display for it and the manual suggesting so too. Please it's a new installation, any ideas?

olopan: With respect to the above, do you then sink new earth rods just for the inverter? And would the earth rod stand alone or be linked/connected to other earth rods in same premises? CC: NiyiOmoIyunade |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 2:37pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
There is no need to sink a separate rod for the inverter, the one in Db would do, as long as it pass the earth test And if need be for a new rod, then it's better to connect them together to have equal-potential Hope this is clear BetaTechnicians: |
