Thank you @4dor.

4dor:

You are right about the cost of living being low because of the oil crises. It's not a smallish town at all, it's a large city. The University of Aberdeen is not in the city center, it's on Kings Street, Union street which is often regarded as the city center is around 40 minutes walk to the University of Aberdeen(Used to do that route on foot during Uni). I totally agree about your assertion on the economy, It's heavily dependent on Oil and tourism and both have been badly hit. Let me also add that University of Aberdeen is tough, you will get kicked off your course if you fail once, in RGU you will be given an opportunity to resit but will be kicked off if you fail again.

Kings Street is still part of the city centre, it's not just Union Square and Union Street, I've marched that road to King's College myself, I used to visit someone schooling there. Aberdeen has (or had) that small town feel - you're hanging out on Union Street and it's as if everyone you know turns up there at some point, reminds me of when I served in Owerri in the 90s. In any event, University of Aberdeen is way more expensive than RGU, they use their 1495 as bragging rights, so if funds are a concern for the OP, RGU will be the better option. Garthdee is also quite a nice area to live, even though the place used to be full of Indians and our noisy Nigerian students showing themselves everywhere.

Thanks for your response. What about job prospects? Which city would be better? I'm looking at caregiving as I have good experience in the field.

In terms of job prospect Leeds is better than Braford but caregiving job is available in both cities

From an economic point of view, I totally support converting to naira from aboki then deposit into your savings account and pay with form A as stated.
Please can I pay my cousin's tuition fee using Form A. The money is in my account and she's not around but I have her international passport and school details.
Can I go ahead and pay for her?
Mind you, we don't have the same surname. Will the bank process it?

Hi ......,

We have made an update to your application. Due to the course you have selected, we have had to refer your application to one of our experienced subject-specialist Admissions Tutors within the Academic School of Study. This will mean there will be a delay in the processing of your application but we aim to come back to you with an outcome as soon as we have an update from the Tutor.

Best Wishes,
International Office, University of Hertfordshire

Please I got this from Hertfordshire over a month now and they’ve not gotten back to me. I applied for pre-registration nursing. Any hope of getting the admission for me? Someone please help

You will save almost 16000 pounds by choosing Bournemouth due to free accommodation and cheaper tuition. Is this even a question? Are you just bragging?

They want to scrutinise your application more for further clarification. You should have applied to other schools like Derby who also offer same course. Don't put all your eggs in one basket

Your Application is unsuccessful not because of your academic potential. It is because you have been refused Uk visa before. Try other schools that are lenient. Ask the forum.
