Nice, but long coding time doesn't equate to better productivity, infact your productivity declines the longer time you spend on your laptop.

You are right if only u don have deadline to meet but when you have deadline, u have to be productive

There is no length just cover the basics and pick up a real life project, the process you go through is the same you will go through when you get a job, but my advise read 4 hours a day and practice code, you will get better.

You said it perfectly but now, I have started making conscious effort to balance my life, please do too, else you might end up burnt out and depressed.

I spend 12hrs daily learning how to code. buh i advise, don't just learn, build sth. A developer is more like a problem solver. Give urself a task, try to solve some problems with codes. Who knows you might build sth unique. I just took up this task.

What's the step involved in this coding? How can sum1 learn it?

I strive to code at least 6hrs a day. lower days at about 4hrs.
I have a time tracker to hold myself accountable (TimeDoctor.com)

Some days I go for 10hrs.

The reason why I push myself is because I am working on projects with an intent to generate passive income. So every hour I put in counts towards that singular goal.

Working 4-10 hrs every day ensures I get market feedback early enough to either pivot or double down in months.

I can spend 12 hours a day for weeks, then not touch anything for months. The first couple of days back is always reorienting myself with what I was doing before then the binge starts again.

It’s really fixating when you are working on something specific or trying to debug an issue. All I will want to do is reach different objectives and time flies by. So I don’t do anything coding related if I have bigger priorities to focus on.
