Yes, you can. Depends on what you want to study in school. Check for universities that offer your course of study. Choose which work for you...moneywise and every other thing. Do your research on whatever school you choose. If it is an approved DLI and all that. Check their application requirements. Pay your application fee and apply

Generally pension fund is good for hometies if you are self sponsored as only 25% of the fund is accessible before the statutory age of 50yrs (if the owner is out of job for some period of months.)

So it's not advisable to use your sponsor's pensions account, just to add to the pof. The sponsor is above 50 yes but still working.

Good morning great minds, yesterday I got a response from embassy concerning my application saying I have a debt to crown of 235 cad Dollar which I mailed the them back that am not owing any debt and I also raised a webform for that , the email address the IRCC added on the letter I also mailed them also , and the replied me by saying the card I used for the transaction was later cancelled and the money was reversed to the bank.so I am working on paying another fees later this week before I got a msg again on my application that my application status has changed, please help me what the meaning And I logged in cheched but nothing was changed or updated.

Biko, is this a good sign or na just now them begin process my application?

Secondly, my hubby who is my co-sponsor lost his job in January. How do I address this? Should I still attach his my bankstatement and maybe a letter of explanation as no inflow has entered his acct since Feb or shld I just send everything like that?

I don't think you need to tell them your hubby lost his Job. Since the fund is still there, you are good to go.

Have you truly confirmed the card was later cancelled and money reversed? If you have, then do mails to them about this confirmation which you did not know of before and promise to pay ASAP. Do so quickly and write back with proof of payment.

But if you are sure it wasn't cancelled or reversed, still write them with proof of payment.

Since there is no letter to show the update in your profile account, no one but them will ever know the status change that occurred therein.

Apply for GCMS note for your own peace of mind and to also know the next step to take.

My friend's application is 6 months. We applied for her notes last month and it arrived yesterday. She is more at rest now.
