Buhari/APC have never won a presidential election in Edo State...not even when they had a sitting governor in Oshiomole.
I didn’t say they did, they had a very big figure there

They don't want northerners they don't want Hausa Fulani, but they still prefer the same northerner over a southerner, they'll even work with the same Hausa Fulani to defeat a southerner.

The tribal and bigoted people in the SE played the same game in 1960 by teaming up with Hausa Fulani against a southerner to create Nigeria.

You people are the most self-hating and self-destructive people in the world.

What have you gained with all your hatred, tribalism and bigotry since? Nothing.
This is simply meant to teach Yorubas some lessons that you can’t eat your cake and have it.

I’m even ready to rig the election for a northerner instead for Tinubu to win.

I can bet you’re from the south but you’re here hyperventilating on how to make sure a northerner defeats a southerner in 2023 after 8 years of Buhari rule.

So tell me, what does the south stand to gain from another Fulani presidency? Will the south be better off under an Atiku presidency than a Tinubu presidency?

It’s such a shame that lots of southerners are willing to cut their nose to spite their face. Atiku and Tambuwal are as nepotistic as Buhari. They will rule Nigeria the same way Buhari is ruling. Someone like Atiku will even be worse because he’s extremely corrupt and very wicked. It’s time for the south to stop this politics of bitterness and acrimony.
Bros, you qualified your boss Buhari as being nepotistic? Waoohhhh! Seems the scales are falling off gradually.
BTW, a Tinubu presidency may favour the southern region.

God will bless you ojare. The truth is that Nigerians are mainly sentimental in outlook.

We have all seen incontrovertible proof under Buhari that the North is incapable of ever developing Nigeria because what will help all corners of Nigeria get to the next level runs contrary to the interest of Northern political and business elite who love flying round in 80 million dollars private jets while excruciating poverty and deprivation is all around them.

You're right. Tambuwal and the highly corrupt Atiku, always implicated in every major international scam against Nigeria, will be far worse than Buhari.

The South needs to be very analytical and dispassionate towards the 2023 Presidency if we are to gain the chance to reverse what is clearly a Fulani agenda to continue regressing all dwellers of the southern regions while North is given unfair advantages, by successive Northern regimes or their stooge/proxy , to try and 'catch up'.

While that huge and real challenge faces the North then it can never be a Northerner who will move Nigeria forward.

We warned them profusely when they were re-echoing Buhari's infamous 5% statement that while a Northerner could get away with such a careless utterance because of their voting population, the South West doesn't have the number to call anyone 5%.

Tinubus's entire 2023 dream is hinged on the hope of reciprocity from Buhari. He's only leveraging on religion, hoping that Buhari rewards his endless servitude and *ass-licking by rigging him to power.

We will be ready for them.

That’s truely if south south and southeast vote combined won’t exceed 10%.

Politics is more about interests and not ethnicity, the northerners in APC have too much interests than to loose to pdp. And for now there is no stronger northerner than Buhari, don't be deceived with his bad performance. He and Tinubu decides who the next president is.

Please forget South South. Wike and Amaechi are going to be stooges of the North because being one of the big four (Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani) is the major leverage any President in Aso Rock needs to have a powerful and independent Presidency.

Buhari is getting away with a lot of wrongs because of this reality. Fact 101 sensible men cannot argue witth. Northerners are in control of Nigeria's armed forces and most important government parastatals and institutions followed by the Yorubas.

Having a powerful and populous Southern people who have all it takes (Igbos and Yorubas) to fight for you when the North will inevitably come for you, when you move against their interests, as they did with OBJ, is very important for any potential southern President.

It is major reason GEJ failed woefully whereas OBJ managed to do what he wanted, though bad things in the majority, even when the North came with sharia etal to frustrate him.

Because of how Nigeria is tottering dangerously on the edge, the Southern slot can only be for the Yorubas.

Igbos qualify in some ways (large population and notable cadre of successful Igbo Nigerians) but will fall short because of political lightweights and local champions, like Obi and Umahi, who happen to be all you can muster currently.

Rather you lot should support Tinubu who is from the most influential ethnic group in Nigeria currently, that cannot be rubbished by even the North, and is an international and African giant of a politicians with a universal profile higher than any Northerner.

This is the reality I know you Igbo will never accept but it is the feasible option for pragmatic folks with a solution-driven and winning mentality

Call it what you will. It is the reality most Nigerians cannot accept because they are emotional and sentimental about everything.

The test of true pragmatic intellect is a simple one. Anyone, like you, who sees it fit to always call Tinubu a "criminal" is not pragmatically intellint and certainly not living the Nigerian reality.

Please, if we are talking corruption, who is not a "criminal" in Nigerian politics? We then must move to the even bigger question of trying to find the 'saints' in Nigerian politics that people like you insist exists yet non have being able to use any political office they have had as transformationally as BAT has done with Lagos.

Look at Kalu and Obi making noise. What have they done for Abia and Anambra respectively while Governor to warrant them aspiring to be President in comparison to Tinubu with a proven record of making the most populous and challenged State in Nigeria a shining beacon no other state is even remotely close to?

Lagos is the 6th biggest economy in Africa for fck sake thanks to the vision of BAT while people like you continue to mouth "criminal" emptily as a show of your own aberrancy and ethnocentric bias. Yet, for context, Joburg and Nairobi, Cities in South Africa and Kenya respectively, probably have bigger economies than most Nigerian States!!!

In comparison, what of Tambuwal, Yahya Bello, Kwankwaso, Fayemi etal who have designs on Aso Rock? What exemplary qualities have they shown or are showing as past and current governors?

Stop thinking and talking like a child. Hating someone does not mean you have to deny the truth about them. Only children under 10 should do that.

It’s no news that Tinubu is investing big time to become the no1 citizen of Nigeria. His recent romance with the north has shown that he thinks the north is key to his campaign but forgetting that PDP can lobby a good northerner to divide his votes greatly up north.

Now how’s this gonna work?

we all know politics is a game of interest and a lot of negotiation will happen prior to the elections, if PDP can strike a good deal with a strong northerner, the battlefield moves to South south and southeast. I doubt Tinubu’s popularity in these regions. Even if Tinubu ends up getting 60% votes in the north and 80% in southwest, south east and south south can hunt him badly.

Now to defeat Tinubu, PDP has to field a northerner, sadly that’s the only way. If this happens then Tinubu is in for a serious challenge irrespective of his romance with the north.
you be olodo. If Tinubu gets 60% and 80% from North and southwest. He's already a winner to run shows from the rock. The other two Southern regions have the lower electorates in Nigeria. Their combine numbers are not up to Northwest .
