WWE WRESTLEMANIA NIGHT 1 REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

WELCOME TO WRESTLE... uh...
Wrestle... Rainia?
Before the dreaded rain delay, Vince McMahon and the whole locker room were out on the stage and Vince welcomed everyone back with a heartfelt promo. Once we got the famous “Welcome to WrestleMania!” we saw an incredible video package.
And after all the greatness, Michael Cole announced the rain delay.
What followed was a real sports-like rain delay with actual unscripted promos from a bunch of people, and mostly everyone did really well with them.
What followed the rain delay was an extremely entertaining show. I want to personally thank the crowd for making this experience amazing. You were all wonderful. You made the show better. I have been recapping for almost a year, and you were my first crowd. That’s insane! cry

Let’s get into it!

The main event
Well I started crying immediately.
Both women soaked up the adulation and got emotional.
We got our first dueling chant of the evening for the main event. Belair and Banks shoved each other and Banks ducked a standing moonsault.
Banks did a suicide dive and Belair rolled through with Banks above her head. That was a great moment.
Belair did some squats with Banks and Banks grabbed her hair and di the running knee for a two count. Banks is great with an opening, and Belair gave it to her. Of course, Banks did her classic OMG SASHA moment and grabbed Belair’s hair and they played tug-of-war but Belair sent Banks into the steps.
Belair held Banks up and did a great suplex. Banks tried an arm drag but Belair got momentum with a kip up and standing shooting star press. Banks got her knees up as Bianca went for a 450 splash. My goodness Belair is strong. She two sit out powerbombs without assistance.
Banks tried a meteora but did a splash instead for a two count, and you could see the regret in her face. Sasha used Bianca’s hair to assist her with a Bank Statement. Smart roll out by Belair and she got to the ropes.
Banks tried to stomp on Belair but Belair moved out of the way and did the 450 splash for a near fall. Banks grabbed her hair again and Belair whipped her with it!
AND THEN BIANCA HIT THE KOD TO WIN!
This match was booked perfectly! Sasha used Bianca’s ponytail to her advantage, and it took that ponytail to slap the momentum out of her for Bianca to get the win. This was the moment that Bianca and Sasha both needed to seal the deal. Women can main event and this historical match proved it.
The welt on Sasha’s ribs from the ponytail looked nasty as hell. She was also brilliant here. Sasha is a GOAT tier performer, even if some of her moves look like she’ll get legitimately injured from them. A lot of people talked badly about that, but I think she knows how to make it work.
This is the type of star making performance Bianca had in her. I’m so elated. Congratulations to both women.

The new beast slayer
Drew McIntyre got his wish, and was the first
wrestler to enter the ring.
All of this just felt incredible, didn’t it? Real cheers. Real boos. People surrounding the ring.
McIntyre’s snap suplex got a roar from the crowd. He beat Lashley up in the corner and the crowd kept at it. Lashley threw McIntyre into the barricades to gain momentum.
McIntyre came back and tried to get the armbar in, but Lashley pummeled him to break it. Lashley backed McIntyre into the corner to break the futureshock DDT.
MCINTYRE DID A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!
Lashley responded with a powerslam for the heavens. So impressive to see that on a big man. Lashley went for the Hurt lock but McIntyre got out of it. Then we heard the first WOOOO! chants from a crowd in over a year.
All the way up top, McIntyre went to suplex but Lashley knocked him off the ropes.
McIntyre’s first Claymore Kick was halted. But he did three futureshock DDTs and that got him a near fall. And then Lashley ducked a second Claymore and McIntyre launched over the ropes to take out the heels! The crowd went nuts and I almost teared up a little. McIntyre looked a little emotional before that.
Lashley went for the Hurt Lock but McIntyre blocked it. Then he countered the spinebuster with a Kimura Lock and Lashley got to the ropes! The drama in this match was amazing.
Lashley finally got the Hurt Lock in and Drew faded, but rallied to loud cheers. And Lashley locked it in again, Drew couldn’t get back up.
I am shocked that Bobby retained here. I was sure that Drew was going to get the win to start the show. I would have put money on Drew getting the win. Even though he didn’t this match was great and was the right way to start this show off.
I am so happy for Bobby Lashley. He deserved this win, truly. They’ve made him out to be a real monster, and now, I don’t know who slays this beast.
Maybe... another beast?

Thank you Bad Bunny
Bunnies. A lot of them.
Miz and Morrison entered to Hey Hey Hop Hop and a lot of bunnies accompanied them. We didn’t need it, but a bunny lost an ear so it was kind of worth it! I genuinely laughed at that part.
Damian Priest, I like you.
BAD BUNNY RODE IN ON AN 18 WHEELER!
Miz told Priest to tag Bad Bunny in, so he gave us what we wanted. Miz taunted him and then he got what he asked for. Bunny him in a wait lock and clocked him in the face again. Miz got Bunny in the corner and shoved his face, but Bunny took him down. He countered an arm drag with one of his own.
Mr. Bunny was having a lot of fun with this. Miz kicked him in the mid section and tossed him out of the ring. BAD BUNNY (MOVE)
Morrison tagged in and it slowed Bunny’s momentum. Miz kicked him in the face and Morrison bounced him off the announce table. The crowd chanted Benito (Bad Bunny’s name) and he did a tornado DDT to Miz.
Priest tagged in and cleaned house. He chokeslammed Miz but Morrison broke the pin. Tandem falcon arrows from Priest and Bunny got both men a near fall. That was so cool.
Bad Bunny lept onto Miz and Morrison like from the Royal Rumble but Miz got Priest in a Skull Crushing finale and Bunny broke the pin.
BAD BUNNY DID A BUNNY (CANADIAN) DESTROYER TO MORRISON! And then a cross body assisted by Priest to pin Miz.
That was ridiculously fun. Bad Bunny put in the work and he did great! He is a real fan of wrestling and you can tell he appreciated every moment of this. He got a kick ass entrance and got so much in to pop everyone. Miz and Morrison were the perfect foils.
Damian Priest got a big rub from this match, and thankfully because he’s likely to be alone going forward.
What a major celebrity moment for Wrestlemania. Thank you Bad Bunny for the weeks of entertainment. You proved you belong.

Swinging to victory
Cesaro went for an early Swing! He knew what we all wanted.
He did a corkscrew uppercut and that’s when Rollins started targeting the arm. He went for the gut wrench suplex, but Rollins got him up for the buckle bomb. Rollins kept being smart and attacked the arm more. Rollins did the superplex and falcon arrow for a two count.
Cesaro worked through the pain and did a whole bunch of uppercuts. He tried the swing again and Rollins grabbed the ropes. Rollins went for the curb stomp and Cesaro countered with the swing! He only was able to do about 10, though.
Rollins did the sling blade and a corkscrew splash for a near fall!
A surprise neutralizer got Cesaro a near fall. Wow I thought it was over there. Rollins did his old mentor’s move, the pedigree, but wasn’t able to capture the victory with it.
Rollins called himself a God and got Cesaro on the neck two times. But Cesaro countered a stomp with an uppercut similar to the Orton counter. And then the second swing! 23 times and a neutralizer, Cesaro picked up the win.
Cesaro got the win. Another finish I did not expect. Seth was on a roll leading up to this show and it’s so awesome to see WWE give Cesaro the win.
This was an awesome way to give Cesaro momentum post WrestleMania. Looks like what some have been saying may come to fruition. Cesaro could be in the world title picture very soon.

Omos debut ruled
AJ Styles nearly slipped doing his entrance and recovered well. That was funny.
New Day got Big E to do the entrance again, and that was such a delight.Kofi and Xavier were rocking new door hairstyles too.
So, Omos’ gear was very interesting. Before he took the jacket off, it looked like he had a button down on. Kingston twerked and drop kicked Styles. Woods did an elbow drop for a two count. Woods and Kingston were able to isolate Styles in their corner and do the stomps to Styles in the turnbuckle.
Styles got finger length away from tagging Omos, but New Day worked so well together to ensure Omos didn’t get in the match. Kingston taunted Styles and he got out of the ring to run around and tag Omos and it didn’t work.
This was a bit odd because it made New Day a bit heelish to me. I don’t blame them though. I wouldn’t have wanted Omos anywhere near me.
Finally Styles tagged in Omos and Woods kicked him in the legs, Omos didn’t move. Woods tried a drop kick and it didn’t work. Kingston tagged in and Omos tossed him aside. He grabbed Woods and Kingston and slammed their spines on his knee.
Styles used Omos’ shoulders to do the Phenomenal Forearm! Omos picked up Kingston and slammed him to the mat and got the victory.
This was incredibly fun. Omos’ wrestling debut was a success and New Day were the perfect team to do this. It’s also nice to finally see Styles as a tag champion. I’m a little confused as to why New Day were pretty much working heel for this.
It did make me want to see Styles and Omos as face tag champions. Omos looked like a lot of fun. Of course he wasn’t moving around like other big men, but time will tell if he will really get to do some more moves.

Shane McMahon is crazy
Braun Strowman was fired up!
Shane held the door closed and Ryker and Elias ambushed him with chair shots. They threw a chair in the ring and McMahon hit him over and over.
He tried to get out through the door and Strowman grabbed him back. McMahon went for his patented crappy MMA fighting and kept going for the leg Elias and Ryker targeted. He then grabbed a metal plate from the top of the cage and slammed it onto Strowman’s back.
Strowman launched him into the cage and did his own punches. McMahon got in between the ropes and the cage and Strowman put the hurt on. McMahon did the coast to coast and got a near fall. Ryker and Elias climbed up the cage and tried to take Shane out, but Strowman took care of them.
Both were up top and there was a toolbox and Shane grabbed it and hit Strowman, but Strowman recovered and ripped the cage open to pull him back in. Both went back up to the top and STROWMAN THREW HIM OFF TO THE MAT! HE JUST LAUNCHED HIM OFF THE CAGE! Ow!
Strowman picked him up and did the running powerslam to win.
That was quite a finish. We know that Shane is crazy, but wow he really is crazy! That must be writing Shane off for a while. Shane gets all the respect from me for that.
Braun was always going to win this, but honestly I was kind of hoping to get the train noise for this match. I really wanted to hear the crowd reaction to it. Braun did it for anyone who’s been bullied.
Just remember to gloss over the fact that he was bullying people a few months back.

Dominant veterans
Naomi and Carmella started off the tag turmoil.
Billie Kay was the star, as usual. She tried her best but Lana tagged Naomi after a Russian leg sweep.
Billie kay pinned Naomi, and the Riott Squad entered the ring. Alrighty then.
Billie dumped Ruby out and Morgan almost got pinned by Kay, but the referee saw Carmella holding Kay there. The Riott Squad won that bout, and out came Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke.
Brooke got really frustrated when Morgan broke her pin attempt and brought out some aggression. A nice spinning neckbreaker got her a two count. Ruby got the Riott Kick but Brooke returned the favor and broke her pin attempt. Rose superplexed Morgan, and Brooke almost got the pin but it was rolled up and Morgan got the win for the team.
Finally, Tamina and Natalya came in and I almost thought for a second Natty was going to get rolled up. Natty powerbombed Morgan and Ruby broke up the pin. Morgan worked her way out of a Samoan Drop and tagged Ruby. They worked together to get a pin but got a two count. Natty tagged in and was going for the sharpshooter, but tagged Tamina to so the splash for the win.
Wasn’t the group I wanted, but after the past month, it should have been expected by everyone. I was pulling for Ruby and Liv for this. I’m not quite sure how heel team vs. heel team for night two is supposed to go over.
I’m seeing a title change tomorrow, courtesy of a botched Reginald interference. That’s how this is supposed to end, right? It’ll get the tag titles primarily on SmackDown and Shayna Baszler will finally break from Nia Jax.

Grade: A

What were your thoughts on WrestleMania night 1, and what are your predictions for night two, Guys?

For a match with a lackluster build that was one of the best wrestlemania main event and women's match in a while.

Wouldn't really say heel, more like it was the smart play here. Faces shouldn't have to be fearless idiots all the time. But yeah, AJ and Omos didn't feel like heels in this match. More like a match between two face teams.

Braun did it for anyone who’s been bullied.
Just remember to gloss over the fact that he was bullying people a few months back.
Asin. The timing is just too soon. Couldn't really connect with his story or take it seriously.

What were your thoughts on WrestleMania night 1, and what are your predictions for night two, Guys?
Night one was alright. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The tag team turmoil match didn't feel Wrestlemania worthy in my opinion. Could have had that on SD instead and then have the SD tag team championship match on Wrestlemania.

Night 2 Predictions:
- Fiend buries Randy, obv
- Rhea ends Asuka's misery
- Apollo beats Big E like a Nigerian drum
- Kevin stuns sense into Sami
- Sheamus beats Riddle
- Natalya x Tamina beat Nia x Shayna
- And still your Universal Champion ↓

That's why no matter how much I hate on him right now, I still recognize him as my favorite wrestler currently

Wouldn't really say heel, more like it was the smart play here. Faces shouldn't have to be fearless idiots all the time. But yeah, AJ and Omos didn't feel like heels in this match. More like a match between two face teams.

Asin. The timing is just too soon. Couldn't really connect with his story or take it seriously.

Night one was alright. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The tag team turmoil match didn't feel Wrestlemania worthy in my opinion. Could have had that on SD instead and then have the SD tag team championship match on Wrestlemania.

Night 2 Predictions:
- Fiend buries Randy, obv
- Rhea ends Asuka's misery
- Apollo beats Big E like a Nigerian drum
- Kevin stuns sense into Sami
- Sheamus beats Riddle
- Natalya x Tamina beat Nia x Shayna
- And still your Universal Champion ↓

Lol, yea nice predictions...and I think the reason why they did the tag team turmoil on WMN1 instead of SMACKDOWN was so that the raw team could be involved and it was an impromptu idea
Although there could have been other ways to do it and make it feel Wrestlemania worthy

It doesn't make sense! Why is A whole Wrestle Mania not on Front-page?

Is it because it is not champions league or Snake?

I smell Lalasticlala's handwork in this with his mods.

WWE WRESTLEMANIA NIGHT 2 REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS

WrestleMania 37 has come and gone.
Night two was... interesting? We’ll go with interesting.
Sadly, not interesting in a good way, for the most part. Y’all this show largely sucked, with a few really good matches and moments. It just felt slow and the first two matches were the reason why for me.
It ended the way it should have - with a fire main event where you didn’t know who was going to win. It was perfect, and we’ll get into that in a moment.
Shout out to Bayley who had to get beat up by the Bellas to get onto WrestleMania. She was criminally mishandled after carrying the company for months.
And finally I want to shout out the people on this thread This was an amazing week and it’s been an honor to recap and review with y’all, especially during a grueling week like this. You all rock. And I'm going to miss you Kaycee7

Our Tribal Chief
Daniel Bryan and Edge couldn’t hold back how pumped they were to see people.
All three men started attacking each other, and immediately Jey Uso got involved by superkicking both Bryan and Edge. Uso and Reigns were going to get Edge through the table, but Bryan and Edge took them out. Edge hit Uso with a DDT on the steel steps.
Bryan and Edge got back in the ring and Edge rolled Bryan out of a hurricanrana for a two count. Bryan did the missile drop kick and tried to take out Reigns on the outside, but he caught him and took him out. Reigns went for a Superman Punch and Edge reversed into a DDT.
A spear attempt by Edge was reversed into a Superman Punch , and Edge leaped over Reigns’ spear and did a sunset flip for a two count. They then both speared each other. Bryan then did a diving head butt to both men and then Yes kicks to both men. Bryan did a running knee to Edge and kicked Reigns in the head for a two count.
Bryan went for the Yes Lock, and Edge once again broke the lock. Reigns pummeled Bryan after breaking up the Yes Lock on Edge. Just like WrestleMania 30, Bryan got powerbombed through the announce table. But Edge speared Reigns off the steel steps!
The coolest visual of both nights as Edge and Bryan both had submissions on Roman and head butt each other. That was incredible.
AND THEN EDGE SPEARED BRYAN AND EDGE AND BRYAN PULLED THE REFREE OUT OF THE RING! He grabbed a chair and unloaded on Bryan and Reigns. And then he did a con-chair-to to Bryan, and almost did it to Reigns but Uso came back. Reigns got a spear on Edge, and then grabbed a chair to return the favor.

Roman Reigns grabbed Edge’s life-less body and laid it on Bryan’s life-less body and pinned both men. Wow.
I didn’t know who was going to win this match. It could have gone either way, and each man had a hope spot before the finish. This was the main event desperately needed for this show.
A few weeks back I asked for a program post-WrestleMania with Daniel and Edge, and I feel like with this booking, that’s what we’re going to get. There’s 5 weeks to... WrestleMania Backlash... and that sounds like a fun 5 weeks between these two.
Without this match, WrestleMania night two gets graded under a B-. I need to make that point, even though it gives away my grade early, because as I said in the opener, this show largely sucked. Last night got an A because while the environment brought life to months of ThunderDome screens with silent fans, it was booked to near perfection.
And now we’re going back to silent fans in the ThunderDome. Sigh.

Champion with brutality
Rhea Ripley didn’t appreciate being drop kicked to start the match.
Asuka started getting over on her, and slammed Ripley’s face into the second turnbuckle. Ripley got caught on Asuka’s knee on the outside and crawled back in.
Ripley pushed Asuka’s face into the mat and slapped her around. But Asuka got her down and went for an ankle lock. Ripley was able to roll out and showed some real strength picking her up from that position.
Asuka did a missile drop kick to buy some time. Asuka did a German suplex and a hip attack for a two count.
Ripley sent Asuka face first into the apron, but it still didn’t slow Asuka’s momentum. So Asuka responded with a DDT form the apron to the floor! Even that couldn’t exactly stop Ripley as she was able to lift Asuka out of the arm bar and toss her into the turnbuckle.
More showing of strength as Ripley did a suplex from the apron to the mat for a near fall. Ripley taunted Asuka and Asuka fell for it. Ripley did the Rip tide for the win.
I didn’t see them putting the title on Rhea here. Because they were forced into this early, I expected Asuka to retain so that Charlotte would be back and they’d run that program. But now that I think about it, Charlotte coming back for this program with Rhea as champion makes more sense.
Charlotte and Rhea would be a really fun way to start post-WrestleMania Raw. As for Asuka, I think she could do well with some time off. Thank you for your hard work through the pandemic Raw and I’m sorry you were booked terribly since Summerslam last year. Asuka deserves some time off.

Apollo’s nation
Wale sang Big E to the ring, and E really knows how to get a crowd pumped up.
Both men dove out of the ring to grab kendo sticks and they just hit each other over and over. Crews got out of the ring and E pummeled him. Crews kicked the gong out of E’s hands and went back to the kendo stick.
E charged at Crews and speared him through the ropes. I always jump when I see that. Crews picked up E and nearly dropped him on his head on the apron. Crews draped E over the steels step and almost got the other steps dropped onto him, thankfully E got out of the way and he powerslammed Crews onto the steps.
E set up a table in the ring but Crews broke a kendo stick over his body and tried to do the frog splash onto E and missed and went through the table. While E was about to do the Big Ending, Dabba-Kato from Raw Underground fame interfered and took E out, and laid Crews on E’s lifeless body.
And that’s how all of that booking on SmackDown and Fastlane got us Crews as Intercontinental champion. Huh.
I was not a fan of this at all. The match was good, don’t get me wrong. But I fail to see how the Raw Underground guy just randomly thrown into this, and with a new name of Commador Azeez, is going to get Crews over. Sure it makes sense for Apollo as a heel to cheat, the common heel trope, but I don’t know. I didn’t get it.
No drums were used or hurt in the making of this match. A gong was, though. Maybe it should have been called a Nigerian gong fight?
Protecting Big E seems like a good choice. I don’t see how this was a good way to do it. The match itself was not a straight wrestling match where he was losing clean.
Help me out with this, guys.

Riddle me this
Riddle and Sheamus went right after each other.
Riddle did a sleeper hold and Sheamus backed him into a corner. Sheamus caught Riddle and slammed him on the mat without moving. Sheamus is so damn strong.
A flurry of elbows by Riddle sent them into another corner, and Riddle grabbed Sheamus’ arm and draped himself over the ropes. He paid for it because he put himself in harm’s way for Sheamus’ ten beats of the Bodhran. Riddle recovered with an overhead belly to belly from the top rope.
Riddle went for the Bro Derek and Sheamus reversed but couldn’t connect. Awesome spot where Riddle came off the ropes and Sheamus Brogue Kicked him, and Riddle kicked out! We don’t see that often.
Riddle dove off the middle rope to the floor and did a reverse arm bar. Sheamus just effortlessly picked him up and slammed him down, and Riddle went for another sleeper hold, broken by Sheamus getting to the ropes.
Sheamus tried a White Noise but wasn’t in position, so he safely brought Riddle down and did a regular White Noise for a two count. Sheamus Brogue Kicked Riddle in mid air as he was upside down and won!
I did not see Sheamus winning here. To be honest if I was a betting man, I’d have lost a lot of money on these shows. I haven’t really picked more than two or three accurate winners. And while some of those decisions were bad, I like that!
Riddle’s jaw might have gotten busted on that Brogue Kick so I hope he’s okay. He was bleeding pretty heavily. As for Sheamus, I would like to see a returning Keith Lee go after him and they could have an amazing title feud. I hope Keith Lee is able to return soon!
I would like to see Riddle in a tag team again. He was doing pretty well with Jeff Hardy when they were pairing up. Great performance by both men.

Conspiracy free
Sami Zayn introduced Logan Paul who sat ringside.
Owens came out fired up and the crowd was behind him. It was awesome.
Owens did the pop up powerbomb immediately and Zayn smartly got out of the ring. He tried to do the powerbomb onto the apron and Zayn grabbed the ropes. Zayn finally got into it and suplexed Owens on the apron.
Zayn got mad that the referee wasn’t counting fast enough, which is usually something to have gripes about, and Owens got back in at 8. Zayn did the Blue Thunder bomb for a two count. They traded punches on the turnbuckle and and Owens did the frog splash for a two count.
Zayn transitioned out of a suplex and did an exploder suplex. Owens tried to do the stunner and Zayn again countered with a Blue Thunder bomb.
Owens did the Fisherman’s suplex from the top rope and couldn’t make a cover. After a Helluva kick, Owens did a flurry of superkicks and a stunner to get the victory.
AND THEN OWENS GAVE LOGAN PAUL A STUNNER! STUNNER!
To his credit, Paul sold the stunner pretty nicely. I’m glad that WWE didn’t have him involved in this, and Owens and Zayn were allowed to do their thing. This was a great match and woke us all up from the first two badly booked matches you’ll read about underneath this.
The right man won, and I’m wondering what this leads to for both men. Owens could be ready for a title feud now! I’m all for Owens vs. Crews for the Intercontinental title.

Hurt
Randy Orton in white gear going forward? Sign me up!
Alexa Bliss wound up the Fiend in a Box, and out came the un-crispified Fiend, who was shown walking through a LED board hallway and materialized as his new self.
He lept off the box to clothesline Orton and Orton baited him outside. He picked up the Fiend and did his table spot, and Fiend no sold it and put the Mandible Claw in his mouth. Orton got out of it and did two draping DDT’s and Fiend popped up.
A third DDT put Fiend down longer and Orton went for the RKO, but Fiend locked the Mandible Claw in again and transitioned to the Sister Abigail. Fire shot from the turnbuckles and Bliss was sitting on the box and the black goo was pouring from her head. Orton took advantage and did the RKO for the win.
Bliss and Fiend stared at each other, and the lights cut out. When they came back, both were gone.
We were bound to get something stupid. The best part of this whole thing was Bray Wyatt’s tribute to Brodie Lee.
This was so stupid. I really cannot stress enough how stupid this was. I have no other words.
I feel like Shane McMahon right now.

Keeping this going
Baszler was able to maneuver out of a sharpshooter and tag Jax.
She slammed Nattie down to the mat and pointed to Tamina, so Nattie obliged and tagged her in. Tamina and Nattie picked Jax up and flipped her over. That was a nice visual!
Nattie German suplexed Baszler and pulled Baszler into a clothesline. Then Nattie slingshot her into a superkick by Tamina. Baszler then did a wicked knee to Nattie’s jaw that looked brutal. Baszler twisted her left leg and stomped on her ankle. Baszler knows how to make this painful.
Jax took out Tamina and Nattie was left with the heels. Baszler kept attacking the leg. Jax headbutt her and powerbombed her and almost got the pin but Tamina broke up the pin. Baszler tried the Kirifuda Clutch and Tamina blocked it and countered with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Jax did a cross body to both and they were able to kick out together.
Jax talked some trash (and Peacock didn’t bleep in time!) and Tamina was able to pick her up and powerslam her for a near fall. The crowd got loud for her and she went to the top rope for the splash, and Jax moved out of the way.
And then Jax and Baszler won.
Um... y’all... what the hell?
The Fiend losing and then this started the night. What was the point of Tamina’s and Nattie’s booking on SmackDown to just have them lose here? And the crowd was behind them! Well, more so Tamina, but still! Just all around bad booking for the women’s tag division.
Interesting that there was no Reginald at all for this. I wonder why. I’m really happy about that, though.

Grade: B-

- I really hope we're not going back to the red light zone. Also I hope this is the end of this Alexa/Fiend love affair. It's lost whatever flair it had and I just need things to go back to OG solo Fiend. Hope the breakup doesn't drag for too long.

- I honestly don't know where else they want to go with this Nia/Shayna run.

- Riddle and Rob Van Dam together. "I see smoke everywhere. Kush!"

- Lemme repeat after Pu7pl3. Asuka should go on a long break until WWE is ready for Asuka.

- Best visual of the night ↓

Still undisputed champion, the tribal chief, the head of the table...... roman reigns

Night 2 couldn't live up to d high standards of night 1, but the triple threat main event more than made up for a lackluster night.
