Nigeria is not backward, but Nigerians are backward. Many don't even know that some state owned TV channels in the country are already on digital for years now. Most don't know nothing beyond Lagos.
Its indeed a pity.

So you think Lagos alone is Nigeria? Quite obvious many here know only Lagos. Digital broadcasting has been on in some states of the nation for years now. Lagos is just catching up.
Haven't you noticed that Nairaland is more of Lagosians than other states

Nigeria government with the same news over and over again. These same bunch of baboons said the same thing almost 3 years ago, and still saying the same thing this year.

Well it's a good development as I said earlier during the first announcement, but I don't want to hear say Lai machine wants to use another billions to digitize NTA.

There's nothing exciting about this news because even the so called free tv by NBC is trash undecided

The picture quality is so low, the channels don't have any meaningful content that can make viewers stay glued to their TVs and above it all the customer service is so useless when it comes to solving complaints.

Out of excitement I purchased the decoder and paid the 1500 yearly digital Access fee only for me to discover that the whole thing is overrated

Anything Nigeria manages always end up in tears. They are broadcasting AV with less than 1mbps per channel

And Lai's NTA needs Billions of naira for something like this.

You dey reason well.
While this is a welcome development, we know it is another avenue to siphon money into their accounts.

I know a company planning 100gb for 5k
