Drinking His blood and eating His flesh gives you eternal life -Salvation from the condemnation of Sin(Death) but that does not help you love yourself if you are not willing to open up to do so.

Jesus Christ did not call you to deciphering scripture or the doctrines of men. He called you to do one thing one thing and one thing only.. and that is to accept(trust) and obey His teachings/commandments for He is the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God.

There are at least 7 Covenants/Laws defined in the entired Bible, of which the Old Covenant Law of Moses, Law in the land of Canaan, is just one of them. Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God, is another of God's Laws.

Here's a bit of something else you don't know. If you understood anything of Laws, you would have known that the Old Covenant Law of Moses never applied to you and your kind(gentiles) to begin with since it is made clear in scripture that God Himself excluded the rest of the world from that Covenant.

God made that Covenant only with the Children of Israel(and the foreigners who live among them) in the land of Canaan.
