I disagree with you sir. Even in his role in Leicester city, you'll see his work rate, but I've not really seen him do 20 percent of what he does at Leicester city in the Super Eagles. Instead, he would be causing unnecessary free kicks in dangerous positions. The Afcon matches against Algeria and Madagascar are examples. Those two freekicks led to a goal.
Which means you do not watch super eagles games or when you do you only concentrate when the team scores

Ndidi is one of the most important players in the super eagles set up which makes him indispensable currently

With the emergence of 1 or 2 average CMs in any of the top leagues in Europe I bet you that etebo will be forgotten

Oga you won't appreciate ndidi's impact in the national because his role is one that is less appreciated. You don't expect him do deliver tailor measured and defence splitting passes nor much flamboyance on the ball. What matter is his primary responsibility is well executed with aplomb

Ndidi is indispensable in the national team currently unlike etebo who hv seen lesser minutes since the emergence of aribo

You re to expect much from aribo and etebo as one of the links from defence to attack but not ndidi who's main responsibility is to shield the back for which he does excellently
Then how come I appreciate him for his club?

The super eagles play a double pivot so the midfielders are expected to do the same tasks. They are both DMF.

I am not saying Ndidi doesn't perform for us just that Etebo has been clearly better. Etebo had not been playing much for his club and that was why he sat for Aribo just like Musa was sitting before the world cup because of club inactivity. Just know that once Etebo is playing rohr won't hesitate to select him.

Bros because of aribos goal scoring instinct he will always start ahead of etebo mostly in international competitions

He is more tidy with better passing accuracy than etebo while the latter is better suited for African footie

No right thinking coach will bench a fully fit aribo for etebo

On point bro. Aribo performance against Africa teams has always been underwhelming. But he always tends to shine against Non-Africa teams. Etebo owns that spot when it comes to Africa football. Na that jam body Africa football needs.

which is the same point I made in one of my post few minutes ago

I even critized aribo against Benin stating he needs to assert himself in the middle and push forward more with the ball than playing too safe

Outside goal scoring Aribo can be pretty average for us. We saw it against Benin and we have seen it against the other competition.

Let's not even talk about international competitions because Etebo has been our best midfielder in the last two.

I already told we play a double pivot. Both Ndidi and Etebo are defensive midfielders in Rohr's system.

If Etebo was asked to shoulder a goal scoring load for his club he will fit the mold. This is the same guy that scored 4 goals in a match at the Olympics. Etebo will always do what the coach wants.

imagine if rohr gave him that free role he gave Aribo against Benin

and aribo is the one mandated with such responsibilities in his club abi?

Even ndidi as a DM averages 2-4 goals and assist every season. How many did etebo score or assist in his 2 seasons with stoke?

Stamina, strenght, agility and pace he has all but footballing brains na zero
guys dey think say gra gra na football. If you ask those claiming etebo has been better than ndidi in the NT to explain how etebo has been better you will find out their claims are bogus. Completing dribbles without end product and excessive ball hugging that amounts to turnovers is what they will point at to support their claims. Besides ndidi's and etebo's role in the team differs. Ndidi's simple but effective play i will take all day, afterall he is a CDM.
Ndidi needs to perform better in NT but his performance so far has not been bad.

Now u want to make it about goals lol.
It doesn't change what we have seen with our eyes. Aribo has done nothing outside his two goals for the super eagles. Etebo on the other hand was our best midfielder at two straight tournaments.

This is where the problem is..
Ndidi isn't used to playing a double pivot at club level.. He does his thing alone..
Pairing him with Etebo doesn't bring out the best in him..It actually beings confusion..

Let Rohr give Etebo a free role and watch Ndidi perform better..
We saw how good his partnership with Aribo was..
