BascoVanVeli:All of us here no the reason why you re hell bent on forcing many to accept that etebo is the alpha and omega in the CM position of the current eagles set up Do you really know the responbilities of a CM? Etebo doesn't score regularly nor even assist. Since his inclusion in the super eagles I hv never seen one decent through pass or long breathtaking pass As a CM it is expected of you to dictate the tempo of play and hv that natural gift of organizing play from the middle, make runs to the oppositions box when the need arises and as well lessen the burden of creativity from the teams AM and wingers All these mentioned above etebo doesn't hv them. He is only good at hassling the ball of opponents and, pace and agility to play over 90mins tuning tro n fro non stop Mk we no dey allow sentiment beclound our sense of reasoning Not only in the national team but make out time to watch aribo and etebo in their respective clubs then come back to tell me who is better A CM midfielder that hardly gets assists and goals. Na to cover ground and impressive heat map after games we come chop? |

BascoVanVeli:Though, Etebor is a better player in GWG, but I still wouldn't play him in the CM because his ignorance of his basic duties in that position. |

jihday:Bro... one bottle of Heineken for you. Some people need to understand that football is no more about brawn and brawl but brain. Technique is taking over while physique is just an advantage. |

BascoVanVeli:Lucky? I doubt sir. Japan worked hard for it not just lucky. Senegal clearly came to the game with muscle bit Japan came with technique. |

that have been the ban of african teams in the world cup. football inteligence, technique, tactics and skills supersedes muscle and power this is the reason africa will always find it difficult to win the world cup. gara gara no be football mostob: |

Etebo has the lungs I admire in my enforcers but he is not a good CM. Dude be forming activities but at the end of the day, one can not point out one ting he did all match, than to hug the ball and wait for who to flex muscle with. As for Aribo, I never rated him. |

Danielnino00:Senegal need to fire Cisse and get a decent coach. Even Siasia if he ignores egunje would do better than Cisse, but baba dey on life ban. In summary a good coach would get the best out of Senegal and CIV. |

okay his primary position is CM? spare me that jargon you got from google or god knows where ndidi naturally is a DM but cant he be deployed as a CB or CM as well? mikel during his time at chelsea was deployed at cb and rb occassionally does it mean those positions are his natural positions on the pitch? michael essien at madrid was used sparingly as a rb under jose does it mean he is a righ back naturally? go sit down abeg and concentrate on players from jalingo united and blue tigers of mbaise BascoVanVeli: |

Danielnino00:Your last paragraph also buttress my point. That was football intelligence. You study your opponent, discover and use their weakness to your own advantage. That was what Belgium did. |

mostob:Japan equalized due to a goal keeping error thats all im saying. My point is that Japan didn't teach Senegal anything. I watched the match and I felt all Senegal didn't do was twist the knife. This is something that they don't do even on the African continent. They leave the door open for teams to come back into games. |

AndSunGorilla:I think Fabinho is enough.. There's not really much Ndidi can do that Fabinho can't.. Klopp's problem is his refusal to introduce another pattern of play into the team aside his current 4-3-3 .. We have been found out with this formation too often this season..Trent and Robbo are shouldered with the responsibility of creating chance, and they have been largely off form this season, hence our attack has suffered. We need to get rid of some deadwoods like Keita and Ox and bring in quality midfielders next season...And add another attacker...In fact,we need stronger squad depth next season.. |
