Jollylolly:
N140bn finance programme would support private developers to provide power to the households. this money is meant to provide solar home system for the rural dwellers. those who are not connected to the national grid.
"...would...". Everything osinbajo says which u guys in his social media team re-echo is future tense. 6years into this administration and u are still talking in future tense. Which means d last 6years of this administration is a waste with nothing to show

It's quite unfortunate. Am still at a loss why osinbajo is so bent on propaganda & image laundering. It's only something that is dirty that is laundered.

CocoaOla:
Apc don't want to give osibanjo a chance to rule Nigeria because is behaving like a good selfless politician

Demonizing Nigeria agenda with bad leaders must fail by force

Or else no one Nigeria and don't force one Nigeria on US for you evil agenda
If u say APC doesn't want to osinbajo a chance to rule nigeria because he is "behaving like a good selfless politician", y can't he resign and try to be president using another political party?

Am glad u said he is "behaving like a good selfless politician" not that he actually is "a good selfless politician".

1x2x3:
Decentralise power and let each state generate its electricity.
YOU SAID IT ALL.

Decentralisation.

If I may I add, Restructuring and devolution of the federal power to states.

Federal government is still controlling the power sector at the centre while at the same time they are deceiving the people to believe that the control at the centre is not the real issue.

It is. Electricity power should be decentralise to the state to run and generate funds.

The same goes for Agriculture.

The federal government that own no land except for Abuja FCT is still controlling the ministry of agriculture were billions of funds is being transfered into.

What should stop states like Edo state, Delta state, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Ondo, Lagos, Ogun state, Imo state, Abia state, Anambra state, Benue state, Niger state, from establishing their own independent power supply.

Prof Yemi Osinbajo is just talking from the surface.

He need to be bold to say the truth.

The current structure is crazy.... If any state makes effort to generate electricity then it must be connected to National Grid first and the FG decides how the generate power will be allocated. They know what is right to do, I believe there's a covenant these people enter into once they get to that seat of power cos I can't phantom how they all lose their logical reasoning once they assume that seat.
